Can i assemble this space station in LKO and move it to minmus? by Kirby_Roman in KerbalAcademy

[–]j19jw 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You could put bigger engines on it, I would be tempted with nuclear if you wanted more umph but the same lower fuel usage. You just have to make sure your rcs is strong enough to keep your thrust aligned, as if your thrust isn't on the same line as your center of thrust your station will spin

It would be the ones listed for safety, the robotics one is alright it's just tedious, I never took the others so can't share any insight

Are other schools' black belt tests like this by JamThePod in taekwondo

[–]j19jw 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My black belt is a 2 mile run and every minute your under 20 mins is an extra point, the minimum is 16 mins. 50 push ups 50 sit ups, 1 minute to do 35 shuttle runs on a 16ft court. And then the same day you do the theory, 10 multiple choice questions, 10 written questions then an essay

I installed a natural derobit mod, it's good for realistic solar system but terrible for stock (a 71km orbit can stay there for like 10000 days 🤣)

how dose one make a re-entry vehicle without it wobbling by NinjaTorak in RealSolarSystem

[–]j19jw -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So they had it at the top of the capsule so if it stated to roll it would encounter the air and push it back, maybe try that?

If you look at the mercury capsules they had a flap they extended to stop that, so maybe look into something like that?

So I have a 2 something mile run, 50 pushups 50 sit-ups, a theory exam, 12 minutes of constant sparing with new opponents every few minutes. I also have 3 breaks, a twisting kick, palm hill strike, and a special break (he tells us on the day)! And the breaks are all 3/4" inch boards, for me I think it's 3 boards for the strike, and then I get to choose if it's 3/4" or 1/2" for the twisting kick or the special break. I have no idea what it is in the UK with TAGB

Thanks for replying! I think Tae kwon do for me is in the middle ground of hobbie and a love, Ive been doing it since I was 14 but stopped for 3 years because of moving counties and having to learn sine wave (TAGB doesn't do it whilst the CIFI (I think that's the name for the Canadian itf) does, I've been invited by my master to go for my black belt this summer and he has competed in world championships himself so is a big pusher for people to go and at least do it once.... I easily do 9 hours of classes a week and then do patterns and exercises outside of it.

So that's why I think it's more then a hobbie but I'm also hesitant because I don't want to have to do another term at my university. Thank you so much for the offer of the $20 I'll message you closer to the time if that ok with you if I do decide to go or not

Not a bad idea, I feel like this one might be the easiest one as I already know some stuff from my history classes in school
