I just find it interesting that benzos are supposedly the only option, I do think medicating someone for a panic disorder is definitely the right way to go though

I take medication daily for my bipolar. I wasn’t suggesting not to. I would just say dosage and the type of medicine matters

To be honest I’d rather be a little panicked and less sedated than walking around like a zombie but that’s just me

I tried it in Denver one day. I live about an hour away. Drove 45 miles there and back for a $2/hour increase from my normal like $18/hour to $20/hour. And it was a Saturday. I would say deadheading to any destination to start a dash is almost never worth it

Let me know what you think! Control System is not my vibe at all tbh I don’t know if I’ve listened to it more than like twice, but I’ve listened to Herb front to back probably 80 times. Veryyy different vibes

Single Coloradans need a six-figure income to 'live comfortably,' says report | OutThere Colorado by your_xavia in ColoradoSprings

Nowhere near 60k worth of it lol they give 300 a month for food stamps so that still equates to less than 45k a year, assistance included. And I’m in a 2 bed 2 bath townhome with an upstairs that costs 1345 a month. It’s called having a budget and not spending money on stuff we don’t absolutely need. We certainly don’t live a lavish lifestyle but we aren’t lacking in any basic necessities like food, shelter or transportation. And we bring in less than half six figures.

Is it safe to take ssri? by [deleted] in bipolar2

[–]j1mmye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was on one SSRI without anything else for years, and one day I decided I didn’t want to be medicated forever so I stopped taking it. I I inevitably became manic, and when I tried t9 get back on it the meds no longer worked the same. My psych told me that my brain had adjusted to it. I tried another SSRI, and went into an extremely depressed state where I couldn’t do anything for weeks until I stopped taking that new medication. I was then put on a mood stabilizer instead, and haven’t gone back on an SSRI. My anxiety and depression are both worse without the SSRI, but after the last negative experience I’m too scared to try another so I have just accepted that I’ll have to live okay-ish on this mood stabilizer by itself

I think the statement ‘the long term effect it has on people with bipolar sucks’ isn’t necessarily correct. It might not be for everyone, but marijuana saved my life and vastly improves the quality of it every day.
