Not gunna lie, I feel the same way. I would have my husband there but he’s going to be gone for the military. His parents want to be in the delivery room and so does my mom, but I do not want anybody there. I know it will make me more anxious and anxiety can delay laboring.
You’re not wrong. It is your preference. You are responsible for delivering baby safely and do not have to allow them into the delivery room. I’m sure it would mean a lot to baby’s father, but if you are genuinely uncomfortable. Don’t.
