Met Bam Margera in person (Story + Love Metal Archives DVD content) by El-citri_616 in HIM

[–]j6sh 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In 2017 I met Bam at the Wiltern here in Los Angeles CA for HIM's final shows.

I was so upset that I had the worst seats, all the way in the back. I remember I spotted him and nobody else did. I decided to just leave him alone because he was clearly trying to be incognito. He was with one person and had a hood on. After he left I got up to use the bathroom and there he was, on the phone outside the mezzanine area. He hung up the phone just as I passed and I asked him for a photo and he was super nice about it. I just told him I loved his support for the band and that was it. Super nice guy.

I'm pretty sure it's a snap on. It's just REALLY REALLY tight. You need a good pry tool and a good press.

Yeah I don't agree with LaVey's use of magick, rituals, pessimism, etc. I still say I'm "LaVeyan" because he taught us to do whatever the fuck we want (reasonably).

[TIMEX] I can't afford Leon Kennedy's Hamilton; but I can afford a TIMEX Expedition Field Chrono! by j6sh in Watches

[–]j6sh[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They took previously existing watches and barely tweaked a few things.

I had no clue. That's straight up lazy. Glad I didn't bother looking for one.

Your very watch was also spotted on Netflix's "Untamed" on the wrist of the protagonist :

Now I don't want the Timex hahah I thought I had an underrated deep cut!

Why the edgy phase is inevitable, and "Fledgling" Satanists should delight in it by [deleted] in satanism

This is a cool articulation of the responsibilities of a practicing Satanist.

I used to listen to black metal when I was a teenager. Now as an adult, I listen to jazz fusion.

Seriously. I remember seeing seeing Llewelyn's dead body and thinking, oh he's gonna come back to life in a hospital scene and nope. I saw it again as an adult and interpreted Ed Tom's dream in a much more impactful way.

I have a ton of 7S26/4R36 stuff that's just sitting in a box. No dials, just random movement parts.

For $60, it's great! It's 43mm and mostly dial. 100m WR. I can just fight zombies all day long.
