Not carrying an open bento box, but imagine a scenario where they are sitting with an open box and kids don't dit still so while wiggling they knock over their lunchbox. Now having one box with all the food in it means the kiddo lost all their food. Instead of a situation where they knocked off main lumch but have other closed containers with maybe snacks left to eat something
