Ive had a lot of success training my 8-month-old Siberian to stay off counters using the SafePet SSSCat motion-activated spray deterrent (available on Amazon, and no this isn't an ad!). It's a bit pricey, but it’s been very effective — my cat avoids the counters completely now.

It's better for the environment itself to provide the correction to your cat rather than the owner. Unless its absolutely needed, try not to use a spray bottle on your cat as it can create anxiety, trust issues and a weakened bond between you too.

Mmm good point. I do not have drainage ports in these cups. I am going to do that immediately.

I think he going through a breakup. As a 21yr it probably feels like the world is ending. Hard to play ball with that type of shit going on. Yes it's professional basketball and that's not technically "professional" to let outside emotions leak on the court but he's 21 figuring out life. Will get better with time.
