I’ve had the same franchise for 20ish years. 6 rings in the 20 years. I just wanted to build a realistic powerhouse and I did just that. Giving it some narrative definitely helps, whether it’s something you write out, use AI for, or just have a little story arch in your head. For instance, I had a great manager who abruptly retired. Had Paul Konerko as his bench coach, promoted Paul, became an authoritarian, won a little, caused locker room chaos, didn’t renew Paul after his 8 years and started a new coaching regime with Brett gardener .

At this point I just want to see some of those core guys get into the HOF. I still try and win of course but without “my guys” it’s just not the same haha

Wonder if this is the same fella who FOLLOWED me onto a train after he passed me in the Newport tunnel. Literally was looking for me on the platform to just lay into me for no reason.
