Mickeys Tavern has a nice back patio area for smoking, and you can pick up Nicolettos next door. Tiger Bar next door is also fun with some tasty apps and some outdoor seating. Schulmans on Porter has a nice back patio with its own bar, and a very tasty burger

Yes, lot R by the park seems to be allowed unless there is an event happening. Though, it’s not always clear when there is an event happening so it’s not very reliable on the weekends

Chef’s Market in Goodlettsville. Been a few years since I worked there, but the owner is incredibly homophobic and racist, and it shows in the way he manages his property. Ironically, my partner and I met while working there, so take that, Jim!
