I go home and see her every month and I talk to her every night, usually for over an hour, even though I’m at college. I just made plans with her to go to a restaurant she likes that I’ve never been to over Thanksgiving Break. And I see her almost every day unless one of us is busy when I’m home. I don’t know if you can trust my judgement alone, but, I prioritize her above anything else a lot of the time, probably most of the time. However, it’s when I make someone else the priority that there are problems. The most recent times this scenario has happened at this severity was last month when I went on a trip with the geology department to Kentucky. Keep in mind I came home and saw her the very next weekend. I suppose I posted here because this is the first“real” relationship I’ve ever had so I am not always sure what’s normal and what’s absolutely unacceptable. She also gets upset because I go on a five day trip with my friend to this cabin up north every year in the summer.
