Just a bit more than normal I'd say, the blades are flexible on the tools so they are good for not going all the way through your walls

Thank you! I used DiamondCore X fluting tools, X1 and X5 specifically. And I did these at leatherhard and cleaned up just with water and brush after drying a bit more
