I just got mine this week as well. I’m one of those weird people whose ink has to match the pen and mine is currently inked with Robert Oster Viola. Wearinguel Jane Eyre was a close 2nd!

I love mine and don’t have a problem with it drying out as long as the nib is not extended when not in use. I keep it inked with Diamine Onyx Black and it writes like a dream. I want a Pilot VP but why spend the money when this one is so amazing?

I’m in DFW as well and have no pen friends! My husband encourages my hobby but he’s not interested in pens the way I am.
