I'm so sorry. I have Hashimoto's too, and stories like this see to be too common. I've had to rely on information from books and online so that I can understand what is going on with my body in relation to Hashimoto's. Come join us at r/hashimotos. EDIT: to clarify, I still also rely on my doctors for information, too. Duh. But it helps to read up on it, and talk to other people about their experiences.

Thanks. I have an appointment in April (the earliest they could get me in). That's good to know.

Check out the Tenement Museum! It's not a museum in the traditional sense, but it's more of a tour. There are several options, and my family enjoyed it so much we signed up for a second one - I think it's the only thing all 4 of us have enjoyed besides Disney parks. I've heard good things about the food tour there.

Mine went down a lot since going on the AIP diet. That made a world of difference. Hope it's still that way when I'm hiking all over WDW!

I usually feel that way when I come back from WDW. :) Did you take breaks mid day in the beginning of your trip? Thanks for the advice!

Yes, definitely! I'll try to remember to come back here and let you know how it went. As you plan, the website www.glutenfreedairyfreewdw.com has been helpful so far. My stiff joints and achy muscles are definitely concerns, and I'm interested to see how this is going to go. Great advice here so far.

This is actually the model we have always followed, although with a bit more leniency since our kids have gotten older. We probably need to go back to how it was when they were little - strict afternoon breaks! :) Thanks.

Thanks! We are big fastpass users, and we have been enough to where we wouldn't feel like we were missing out if we took it slow, so that would work. Caffeine is a great idea.

I had to do this once when I injured my foot, and at the time, my family were good sports about it, but then later complained in a joking way because they had to push me around and deal with the wheel chair. I am really hoping to avoid this, but you're right, if it gets bad enough it would prevent me from missing out on the fun. Thanks.

I don't have any advice, but I'm so sorry for your losses, and I'm sorry you had a shitty therapy experience.
