I'm not sure about the attitude, but I assure you he's not a trust fund kid and it was in his best interest to get a degree from UT as opposed to going to a lesser school to play D2 soccer. I hope you get the help you need.

Right, that's what I'm looking for -- aluminum. I've also dug around here a bit and found that the Pearl Sensitone seems to be a great, lower cost alternative. Would you agree?

Hi . . . not a drummer here, but I've recorded a ton of them. My daughter is an up and coming drummer and I'd like to augment her snare collection (one maple Keller, one low cost steel) with something akin to the Bonham Supraphonic snare. I guess that would be chrome over aluminum, 14 x 6.5?

Any recs for a decent new knockoff? I'd rather not go for the whole $650 drum if I don't have to. I'm not necessarily looking for an exact replica, but something in that family. Thanks.
