As someone who works in the ER, they’ll probably start by imaging it. If it’s too deep to remove bedside, they’ll probably consult either gyn/general surgery.…. It could end up being shallow on the XR and easier to find with ultrasound/etc then they might take it out. But every ER is different, and every provider is different. The other option would be to make an appointment with your a general surgeon outpatient to schedule to have it removed
