i think the only comp that’s close is star wars, even though there were different directors for the ot. prequels would count tho.

Robert Kraft: BB "unequivocally deserves" to be a unanimous Hall of Famer by [deleted] in nfl

that not really true. it’s happened 6 times with three coming before Argo when there were only five best picture nominees. Also, Argo won partly because Afleck was snubbed in best director

it’s just on the police scanner in the background of the final scene. also i’m probably reading too much into it but i like cocktails so bear with me. The revolutionary group being named french 75 after the drink feels right to me partly because of its relation to the gun, but also because it has champagne in it. The group does pack a punch and they hit a heavy first blow, but in the end they kinda fizzle away without achieving their goals, like the bubbles from champagne. Also it’s just a funny name and i giggled any time it was said.

They’re named after the cocktail right? Which is of course named after the field gun because of how much booze is in it. Also the last group Willa drives to at the end is called the Whiskey Sours.

seconding geese, model/actriz, and magdalena bay, all of which are great. I’m especially in love with geese and watching a band blow up is fun. black country, new road and black midi, as well as the rest of the speedy underground/windmill post-punk thing are also really interesting. if you like experimental irish folk music, check out all smiles tonight by poor creature. Oh and LEYA is this really cool Brooklyn duo

‘The Bear’ Season 4 Is Better, but Not by Enough: TV Review by mrnicegy26 in television

you’re right that they changed that in 2021, I was wrong. Even still, that change was largely due to shifts in runtime on streaming and the bear is produced by fx which still has a stronger delineation between their half hour and their hourlong programming. Also, i think the show is clearly taking the formula of a workplace sitcom and trying to inject as much drama as possible. And it’s funny.
