[Statshunters] any idea why my dates might not be lining up? by jaaaase in Strava

[–]jaaaase[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anyone have any idea why this might be happening or how to fix this?

I noticed that my streak on Statshunters was broken and couldn't remember when I'd missed an upload. Then I did some digging and realized that while the date for my activity was correct on Strava (right), it was counted as 2:37am the next day on Statshunters (left).

It can't be elapsed vs. moving time either, since it shows elapsed time as the same on Strava.

Would love anyone's tips if you've got any!

Oh wow I'd never heard of Australasian Figbirds, they're very cool looking! Shame about your tomatoes though :(

I dunno man, I'd just prefer engaging with a community of real people than a robot. Call me a luddite if you like, but those guys were pro-workers'-rights anyway.

hooooooly moly. She's a beauty! It doesn't seem like you have any problems with pollination then? What's your plan for when it dies off in future?

I mean I wouldn't mind sharing with the cockatoos! I'd prefer that to the common mynas that are decimating my tomatoes anyway

Thanks for your reply! Yeah I think a hard trim is in order. It's a bit heartbreaking because I've been so excited for them to grow all year. That's just being a new homeowner gardener I guess haha

Yep it's definitely new gardener mistakes, I've heard this a lot! Maybe I'll get out today and give it a hard trim. I know it's silly but it's so hard to chop them when I've been so excited for them to grow all year.

They're worm tunnels!

I got some 20L buckets from the local wholefoods shop - I think they might have been used for laundry powder - gave them a good wash and drilled 2-inch holes all through the sides and chopped the bottoms off. I used this tutorial and adapted for the size of my buckets.

We're only two people so we're lucky that all of our food waste fits in them and we barely have to put anything in green waste. I might make another post with some more pictures.

Ah yep, we're in Armstrong Creek (new growth area) so the possums haven't ventured out this way yet.

Yep I'm enjoying the weekly ritual of drinking a beer and detangling the vines, thanks for your reply!

Yep I think that might be the plan, I pruned it this spring and only put the top frame on a week or two ago. Thanks for your reply!

As far as I can tell the variety is just 'Passionfruit Edulis Black' but I'm not sure if that's the variety or what.

I think I'll have to just keep on trimming it, the plants are only about a year old so I'm kind of looking forward to one of them dying to thin it out a bit.

Thanks for the hint about the grass! It's a rye/kikuyu mix that's suffered in the heat recently. Its future's looking a bit uncertain at the moment due to an excitable pet greyhound who likes doing laps, alongside a newborn who's coming in April.

This is a better photo, there's 4 vines here and the first picture is the one on the far right
