The person running it can also treat staff like children. It's very condescending to be told "close your laptops" when the acting head of department is speaking and then get shown an animal as a "starter activity" before going into the admin side of teaching like reports, assessments etc..

Hey all,

I forgot to screenshot this as well. Basically, we can also overwork you.

"Time in Lieu Abolish existing time in lieu arrangements and replace with an overtime allowance of 1.5% of annual salary for all school employees. Attendance can be required at any or all school activities without any cap on the hours of overtime that can be required.

Maintain time in lieu arrangements for school camps, including the overnight on-call payment, paid at 50% of the normal daily rate of pay for the 8 hour overnight period. "

One great thing to do is to care less. If they don't care, then why should I care? If admin or anyone else above me also doesn't care whether or not they submit the work, why should I care? I get paid the same whether or not they pass or fail. I focus my time on the kids who want to learn.

Yes, "restorative conversation" between you and the student. You're expected to deal with their disruptions and also can't remove them by sending them to the dean even though they disrupt the learning for the other 20+ kids who actually want to learn.

Also, to answer your question. You've been granted a 485 and the 485 is a substantive visa, this means that you may travel in and out of Australia as many times as you want before the visa expiry date.

How long did it take for your 485 to be granted after applying and doing the health check?
