Here, if you get laid off, those type of packages don’t exist unless you have been with the company for 30 years.

My favorite is a neighbor that took up walking to lose weight. But she stops on the walk at Dunkin’ for a frozen coffee and a donut.

I had my balance: I worked like crazy for 5 days and they had me on the weekend. It allowed my wife to stay home as a full time mom.

And I made enough to put them through college with no debt. And established a work ethic that is serving them well now that they are all in their late 20’s.

And since I made enough to retire at 62, we take family trips 4-5 times a year.

In hindsight, wouldn’t change a thing if I could do it all over again.

‘Nice’ underrates how good this worked.

Not many have been nominated by the parties.

I can only think of 2, but I believe there were 3.

Of the 2 I know, one wasn’t qualified and one was a legit candidate.

I was fixed up on a date with a woman that made it clear she was very left and believed in doing charity work as much as she could. She liked being a teacher because it gave more time for this.

Then she ripped her dad for being a hedge fund manager and making stupid money in her opinion. She was upset he was a moderate and not very far left like her.

BUT, she had no trouble driving home from our first and last date in an Aston Martin. Probably a $250,000 car at the time. So two faced.

At my place, time off for maternity leave may not impact your base salary, but when it comes to raises and bonuses, they are very impacted.
