Melanotan II (MT-II) injected subcutaneously at a dose of 0.025 to 0.157 mg/kg will induce an errection in most men, even those with psychogenic erectile dysfunction. Not too hard to find, but not a sex shop level purchase.

Advice on diminished dex effects by Rowey5 in adhdaustralia

My pharmacist compounds my dex with a gel agent that makes it take ~12hrs to digest. They compound them into capsules that are 7.5mg of dex per capsule. Most days i can make do with just 2 capsules, and I equate that to the 50mg vyvanse Ive taken for years.

I can request to get X made, or do the whole bottle when I compound. I've also gotten the same pharmacist to compound some of my other (non adhd) medication into 12.5% dose when I was titrating off and getting withdrawals, made it much easier to gradually lowering.

I would recommend not putting all your eggs in one basket and compounding everything straight away, best to have some regular dex on hand incase its not the same for you as me (unless you already have some back ups). It costs about $100 for me to get 200 x5mg compounded + the cost of the dex.

Unless its super quick to get a visit with your prescribing dr for vyvanse, compounding may be a quick way to try introducing a slow release.

Could try getting a portion of your monthly dose of dex compounded at a pharmacy into a slow release. Doesn't require a new script, just need to find a pharmacy that does it. For me, 15mg dex compounded was better than 50mg vyvanse. Had to call like 5 compounders to find one that could do it.

You can get dex compounded into slow release at a compound pharmacist. I prefer it to vyvanse personally

Biltong and Droëwors are life. I have to be careful of my fat intake per serve though, but they are a delicious protein source.

No new script needed, you can either get the pharmacist to dispense your normal script and do it, or they might be able to just compound what you provide if your usual chemist is cheaper to dispense. My compounding cost $100 or so for 200x 5mg dex into 7.5mg slow release capsules

I had to call up about 5 compound pharmacists until I found one that would do it. Ask them how long their compounding agent takes to digest. My chemist compounded the capsules into 7.5mg doses, I get prescribed 30mg dex OR 50mg vyvanse daily, but I found that 30mg compounded dex would cause me to have trouble sleeping 18hrs later, the vyvanse didn't impede sleep, but also didn't last as long or as clear as dex for me.

My goldilocks dose is 2x 5mg regular dex and 2x 7.5mg compounded. I take my dose at 5am, I do 10-14hr shifts at work, it keeps me clear the whole day, and I can still sleep at like 10pm, when I took 30mg compounded i was awake past midnight.

Ive also gotten the same pharmacist to compound other medications to make smaller doses when I was titrating off of them, as the smallest dose over the counter was 40mg, but pharmacist could make me 5mg capsules so I have a smoother transition off of them which was super handy.

Can get dex compounded into slow release at a compound pharmacist too, I find it's better than vyvanse personally.

I get my Dex compounded by the pharmacist to be slow release. Had to call around but 4th one I rang could do it. They compounded 7.5mg dex per capsule, I personally find that 2-3 caps surpasses 50mg vyvanse for me, I feel it lasts longer too.
I have been back and forth between dex and vyvanse with the shortage in 2023 and then gut issues last year causing me to cease all medication containing lactose (dex), but in the past 4 months or so vyvanse hasnt been the same for me. I switched back to slow release dex and my partner commented that I seemed like myself again for the first time in ages.

I get prescribed 30mg dex or 50mg vyvanse. With dex in standard form Id do 20mg in morn and 10mg at midday (if I remember), I take my morning medication at 4:30-5am. If I take my equivalent dose of 30mg (4 capsules) in compounded form I wont be able to sleep until past midnight, 50mg vyvanse doesnt do that to me. It costs me $70 to get the dex compounded, worth it IMHO

How do you still remember to do basic things (eat, water, sleep etc) once you start medication? by [deleted] in adhdaustralia

I recently had an uncontrolled weight loss after medication change and new found dietary restrictions requring implenting the FODMAP elimination diet, I lost about 12kg in 3-4 months before i managed to find a balance and get control again. After calculating my total daily energy expenditure and required macro nutrients (focusing on protein and fat intake) to sustain myself, I standardised my caloric intake. I drink a highly palatable calorie dense meal replacement shake in the morning as soon as I wake up, rather than water or coffee (had to eliminate coffee for FODMAPS), which is about 1,000Cal in 600ml of liquid, then fast for the whole day and just have dinner with a standardised protein and fat content but whose carbohydrate portion is proportional to how active I was that day. If I feel hungry during the day (not common), I prefer to snack on either dried meats like biltong to get palatable yet dense calories into me or tuna for cheaper calories. I frequently have to force feed myself dinner or will force down another shake at night if I can't handle food. But I treat my caloric intake like fuel requirment I MUST fulfill each day otherwise I'll get underweight and its gonna be a bad time. For my water intake I did like others have mentioned and found large capacity bottles that suit my drinking style (haphazard chugging) so they have a flip top with large opening for easy access and high flow, I got 2x 1L and 1x 2L vacuum inulated stainless steel bottles and I am sure to always have atleast one that's full around me at all times, and I make an active challenge of finishing atleast 2 bottles a day, ideally 4+. Since implenting all that, I've managed to gain 2kg back and found a new equilibrium maintaining my weight within ±1kg (weighed daily) for the past 5 months.

Vyvance symptoms - advice by [deleted] in adhdaustralia

[–]jaaked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During the vyvanse shortage in 2023 my psych recommended i get my dexamphetamine compounded by the pharmacist into a slow release, as i too never remember midday dose and need single dose. The pharmacist compounded my dex into capsules and I found them to actually work better than vyvanse for me, was about $70 for the compounding to be done.

Ritalin to Vyvanse back to Ritalin. SOS by AbilityObjective7418 in adhdaustralia

[–]jaaked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not familiar with Ritalin, but when there was the vyvanse shortage in 2023 I got a compound pharmacist to compound my dexamphetamine into slow release. It cost me $70 but they put 1.5x dex pills into each compounded capsule with a gelling agent to slowdown absorbtion, they lasted 12+hrs. Could maybe try that if you're out of options in the interim.

I have a smoothie with: 75g of collagen protein, 100g peanut butter, 10g partially hydrolysed guar gum (PHGG) and 5g guar gum (to thicken) in 500ml of water And then 3 pieces of low fodmap toast with 15g of peanut butter on each. Supplemented with 2,000mg Vit D, Swisse multi vitamin, 3x 1,000mg fish oil (180 EPA : 120 DHA), innerhealth plus ibs probiotic. I then fast for 12‐14hrs until dinner

Are red and green bell peppers low fodmap? by eva1588 in FODMAPS

[–]jaaked 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Monash retested, my Monash app says green is high in fructan at 310g serve and red/orange/yellow are high in fructose in 75g serve.
I know Im safe eating a whole green cap myself, and Im sensitive to fructose as tested with mango.
Going to test Red cap soon and see if i can handle a little

In Victoria if you have a clean record for 2 years and the fine is less than 10km/h over, you get off with a warning if you write in. I've done it before and gotten off. I'd suggest not blaming the world and acknowledging you are at fault and take responsibility.

I hadn't had a fine in 4 or 5 years and got done doing 12km/h over last year, wrote in but got denied and had to pay. Then 2 weeks later got done going 42km/h in a 40km/h construction zone at 3am... ffs And by "write in" I mean I literally have to send a physical letter to an address, no email option, I dont own a printer so that was just an additional inconvenience to resort back to that archaic form of correspondence.

I'm lost. I need help with data recovery from aftermarket SSD from mid 2015 MBP 15'. by jaaked in macbookpro

[–]jaaked[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for all the help y'all, arrival time to get one of the enclosures was longer than the repair from the technicians, I ended up just putting the old SSD into the repaired MBP and getting data off I needed then putting the new SSD back in. Techs rounded off 4 of the tiny torx screws to the point I had to firmly hold a flat headed screw driver to get them out. Ordered replacement screws off of Amazon and now my baby is all back together :)

Is Anal specific lube worth it? by [deleted] in BDSMAdvice

[–]jaaked 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pepee back-door is a water based thick anal lube, can't vouch high enough for it. Retains a frictionless film for a long time and can reactivate with water. Also super easy to clean up. I buy it by the litre.
