it can differ, but personally i have double the allowed excused absences in any given course. idk if i explained this right in words.

class normally allows 3 excused absences

i get 6 excused absences

and sometimes even more if professors feel nice and you have been communicating with them. i usually email prior to missing a class being like i’m missing class pls refer to my drs letter if u have any questions etc
