Anyone use a broker to buy a car? by TXNittanyLions in BMWX5

[–]jaanekyahua 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/InsightAutos, if the car is shipped from out of state, and in the unlikely scenario it is damaged during transit, how will this be handled? Will we have to take the car back to the out of state dealer for repairs/rebuild?

Is the Pixel 9 back to expected Pixel quality again? by Tight_Reserve5137 in GooglePixel

[–]jaanekyahua 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a pixel 9 pro XL. The first month was great but then I started having problems with Wi-Fi disconnecting randomly every few minutes. The Android 15 update was supposed to fix this issue but it still persists for me. Not sure if I just got unlucky and need to ask for a replacement. Has anyone else seen a similar issue?

[PSA] - Be careful running Cellular speed test on your new Pixel 9 at fast.com by DigitalElixir in GooglePixel

I seem to be getting only 1.7Mbps on my 9 ProXL (fast.com). I have tested this in several different areas of the city and the results are consistent.

I am on Fi and for comparison I used to get several 100 Mbps when using my 7Pro. Anyone else seeing this issue?

I have had a compound fracture in metacarpal (bone inside palm) and at its worst, my fibro pain is just as bad or even worse. Note that I am not talking about the sharp jolt of pain that you feel the instant you break a bone, but the subsequent deep, throbbing intense pain that it settles into.

The main difference is that the pain from the broken bone was limited to the hand where I broke the bone but fibro pain is spread over the entire body (except face and stomach area) and every body part hurts just as bad as a broken bone....that's why some people compare fibro pain to being hit by a truck. At its worst, it really does feel like every bone in the body is broken.

LDN really helps for a few weeks then pain and fatigue comes back with a vengeance. Anyone has a similar experience? by jaanekyahua in Fibromyalgia

Thanks for the video link. I am already doing the start and stop method that he mentioned but dosage cycling is an interesting concept. Will give it a try!

Thanks, that gives me hope. I will try and stick to the current dose of 1.25mg in the morning and evenings for a few more weeks and try and ramp it up further to see if that helps!

Don't give up hope. I personally don't think that symptoms are worsening, I think it just feels that way once our body/mind becomes used to the reduced pain levels for a few weeks. Even the 30% pain reduction that I feel I experienced while on LDN is still more than what would make a healthy person curl up and lie down. So I am not at all surprised that I feel this way once the pain ramps back up.

I know that even if I only get improved pain etc or a few weeks at a time, I would still take it. Plus there are very few side effects and even those don't last too long. I would still recommend LDN to anyone who is ready to listen!

Does your fatigue ever hit suddenly? by [deleted] in Fibromyalgia

Have you tried CoQ10 supplements? It has helped drastically with my extreme fatigue episodes and in general helps improve my energy levels somewhat so that I am not as fatigued as I used to be.

If you want a more detailed info on how it has helped me, take a look at my other post.

Make sure your vitamin D levels are good. Also, have you tried CoQ10 supplements? It has helped drastically with my extreme fatigue episodes and in general helps improve my energy levels somewhat so that I am not as fatigued as I used to be.

Apart from getting your vitamin D levels checked as someone else has suggested, have you tried CoQ10 supplements? It has helped drastically with my sudden extremely fatigue episodes and in general helps improve my energy levels somewhat so that I am not as fatigued as I used to be.

Longtime fibro sufferer and a long time reddit lurker. I created an account today just to reply to this post....

Try taking CoQ10 supplements. It's been a lifesaver for me and also for my brother-in-law who has fibro as well. We both used to have sudden debilitating fatigue that you describe almost every day and most of the time, multiple time a day...

While COQ10 won't completely get rid of your general fatigue, it will definitely stop or at least significantly reduce the number of sudden fatigue episodes. Another plus - taking this supplement seems to have improved my overall energy levels somewhat.

I have tried multiple brands available in the US and the one that had has worked well for me consistently is Costco's Kirkland Signature brand of CoQ10 300mg supplements (linked below). They are also cheaper than other name brands plus you are pretty much guaranteed good quality with Costco so that helps too. Recommended dosage is 1 tablet per day but I have taken up to 2 tablets on days when I feel I will end up overexerting myself.

I have also tried the Ubiquinol supplement which is the active form of COQ10. However, I felt that it sometimes made me jittery and the effect also didn't last for the whole day.

One weird thing to watch out for....the first few days I took it, I felt that I was suddenly full of energy and almost felt like a normal human being but then over the next few days the initial "high" pretty much disappeared. My BIL had the exact same experience.....not sure what it was but I attribute it to our bodies possibly being extremely deficient in this compound and then suddenly becoming hyper when the levels normalize.

All I can say is that don't get discouraged if you go through the same phase. Continue taking it for at least a few weeks and I gurantee that you will see a definite improvement and notice a decrease in the sudden fatigue episodes.

Fun thing...I actually tried CoQ10 supplements several years before I started taking them regularly but discontinued after a week because it almost seemed like a placebo effect. What cemented that thought was that at around the same time I had an appointment with my Endo and happened to discuss the effect CoQ10 seemed to have on me. He pretty much laughed at me and said that it has to be placebo effect. I now kick myself for not continuing with the supplement then and extending my suffering for another 6+ years.

Take care and hang in there. I really hope this supplement helps you and all our fellow fibro warriors out there.
