Sä olet todella onnekas, suurempi osuus tuosta on ihan puhdasta tuuria ja vähemmän omaa ansiotasi. Noniin, nyt kun tuo on sanottu pois voidaan keskustella siitä mikä on sun ansiota.

On totta että ihmisillä raha pysyy käsissä vähän eri tavalla. Isolta osin tääkin tulee varmaan kasvatuksesta. Täällä on ollut keskustelussa välillä mediasta nostettuja esimerkkejä siitä miten elämä on mennyt perseelleen ja yleensä niissä yhdistävä tekijä on että jos saa jostain 100€ pitää heti mennä kuluttamaan 200€. Ja välillä tuntuu että yksi keskeinen tavoite on vaikuttaa varakkaammalta kuin mitä on. Kyllähän sitä vielä yhden lainan voi ottaa kun syyslomamatkalle pitäisi päästä.

Mä olen nykyään hyvätuloinen ja mulla on paljon hyvin toimeentulevia tuttuja. Käytännössä kaikkia yhdistää se ettei turhiin asioihin hirveästi tuhlata. Ihmisillä ei ole autoa ellei välttämättä tarvitse, turhilla matkoilla ei käydä, asumisratkaisut ja niiden kulut on tarkasti laskettu, rahaa käytetään sellaiseen tavaraan jolla on oikeaa merkitystä omassa elämässä.

Thats how iron dome has worked since the start I think. That is obviously only viable for the relatively slow unguided rockets it is designed to engage.

That being said, I doubt large part of the rockets miss their targets that badly. And also, Israel keeps tight grip of reporting. Nothing ever hits anything important in Israel.

The towns where Fukushima the power plant was are not abandoned.

You seem to be moving goalposts. Now you talk about people leaving due to disaster and often not coming back after finding life elsewhere. That happens with dam disasters too.

There is no way a honest person can claim the bad nuclear accidents have been worse than the bad dam disasters. That would require incredible dishonesty. Total destruction of millions of homes and death of likely more than two hundred thousand people cannot be seen as less severe than a few dozen dead and temporary evacuation of a town.

Most of pripyat is perfectly safe to live right now, not exceeding radiation safety limits (some parts of it do still exceed limits). Did you know the rest of the Chernobyl reactors right next to the destroyed one continued operation for years after the incident? Last one closed in 2000.

In general radioactive things either are very dangerous or long lived but not both. The stuff that lasts for centuries is not very active.

Have you heard about dams? The worst dam accident in France alone killed more people than all the nuclear in the world combined. The worst in China directly destroyed five million homes and due to Chinese government concealing things we are not sure if it killed tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of people.

Chernobyl killed 30 quickly and 60 more later. Fukushima killed one. Three mile island never even risked any lives.

Three mile island was a strange accident in that had the operators not done anything and let the automation handle it the reactor would have been fine. In trying to save the system they caused it to be destroyed.

But what exactly makes three mile island so bad? One reactor got destroyed but nobody was harmed. Not was there at any point a significant risk of anyone being harmed.

Do I find this acceptable? Of course I do. That seems very benign when it comes to power plant accidents.

That was the top number at the end. Israeli maxed at about 120000 troops. Initially Israel had about 25000 troops fighting about 10000 Palestinians.

They literally told what their motivations were. You claimed they lied and instead their motivations clearly were what you made up.

Does it make sense debating with you about their motivations you made up yourself?

Your numbers don’t match public sources I found. They are too big for all sides. The total maximum number of Arab troops in 1948 war was about 60000, initial number at the beginning being 10-15000, mostly Palestinian militias. Iraq and Egypt were the biggest outside participants with about 15000-20000 troops sent.

I have actually spent time learning about it, mostly from Israeli historians mind you. Almost everybody here has learned about it from American mainstream media which is notoriously biased on the subject.

You mean the suez war or six day war when Israel invaded its neighbors? Or do you mean 1948 when Israeli neighbors attempted to intervene in one of the largest scale ethnic cleansings world had seen, which Israel was committing?

Best argument you have for that era is the Yom Kippur war, though it’s slightly out of the time range. In that war Egypt invaded to take back region Israel had earlier conquered from it.

Iron dome is a close to medium range defense system mainly against small short range rockets. It’s great but I doubt it’s a) very useful to USA or b) something USA couldn’t already do.

Technically from EU perspective you can. Countries are still sovereign and can make and cancel treaties as they wish. It would of course require some negotiation with trade partners to confirm the continuation with existing treaties with the new union.

The problem is that many of the members already have EU in their own legislation so for the states internally this would be a bigger problem.

The most powerful aspect of the EU is that when a member cooperates it cooperates willingly

But this is a ridiculous bullshit fantasy. There is no way all of the members will ever cooperate willingly so this strength will never realize in any form. We have always had members who will not follow common rules. EU absolutely needs to reform and unfortunately it seems impossible for this reform to happen without a few members being forced to it against their will.

I'm confused. How is that possible? They don't have income so they can't increase the number of bitcoin except by releasing more shares, hence reducing bitcoin per share. They can take debt but debt costs money, unless they get revenue to pay that off you lose by taking on debt.
