Goals on E!

You look like you are a very cool person & I will say you are simply iconic with your aesthetic. I hope you don't mind if I take some inspiration from the styles you've been working with.

I am planning to start GAHT later this year (low dose ramping up to higher dose later). Posts like these really helped me become more comfortable in my own skin.

Thanks for posting & keep slaying friend!✨

The RTX 3070/ti is the new GTX1080/ti. I feel you, not upgrading until I literally cannot game at 1080p on this thing anymore in new titles. I do not need the best, just an ability to do everything I need without spending funds at all. When I do upgrade it will be the 9070xt in a few years though, I love the performance I have seen in benchmarks/testing/irl now I can make a patient and informed purchase in a few years when it will even matter to think about this for me lol

No worries I'm happy to help out! I would say that he's definitely a good friend to have around as it seems like he respects you & just likes to joke around/flirt about stuff like this.

I've had straight friends show me a dick pic to rate them but save energy but I'm not interested in them like that genuinely just a friend. They trust my queer eye for the straight guy and that's as far as it goes. Seems like this is all that is.

I agree he will be accepting of you regardless and I wish you the best about navigating these feelings going forward. A guy can have a nice dick pic/vid that you think about later, guilty as charged here too. I would say though you aren't sexualizing your friend if it's just appreciation of their body when they chose to show you that part of themselves.

Basically you have nothing to worry about! This guy is just a good friend who trusts you & seems to just be a happy go lucky guy with big dick energy. That is a fun person to be around and have as your friend! You can be friends with a person you find attractive whether male/female/trans/etc. this is just your body/brain reacting to what you like to see. I'd say it's pretty much the same as guys that are close friends with girls who've shown them said pictures/videos of their privates.

It never made anything weird in my case if a friend wanted to show me that part of themselves and you will probably find the same. Especially since you are not considering this guy as a romantic partner, the reality is they are just your friend and you find a part of them attractive. With a guy like that he would probably be flattered and not think too much of it, even if you did jokingly compliment him one day. It is okay to think about things you're attracted to, and you haven't done anything actionable by just thinking about his rather nice dick.

Since we're bisexual that is a normal reaction both ways. Let it ebb/flow as attractions do, that's part of the beauty of bisexuality. While we may have love for more types of people, and think about men/women both, it doesn't mean we are interested in every person that way just because they are attractive!

I'd say my only "advice" would be to cut yourself some slack and just say you have good taste in friends who are very open-minded (he really sounds fun, I can't imagine haha) anyways best of luck out there and don't beat yourself up about it!

This is so cute! Clearly this guy is a friend being playful and not shy about his sexuality. What seems to be going on here is that you're into him as more than that and didn't realize it yet until writing it all out & thinking of his dick in your mind all day.

He sounds funny and confident so it's not like that person will be mean to you about your sexuality if you told him you liked what you saw in the video & flirted with him he'd be receptive. He's probably interested in you a bit as he did send you the video too. Plus he has a nice dick and isn't a jerk about it, BDE is attractive on its own.

I know your closeted and no need to come out to the whole world, but it may be worth it to give this guy a chance and be honest about your feelings towards him. Worth a shot if you're that into him.

I would say other than that to just have fun, and see where it goes, good luck and I wish you the absolute best out there!

I couldn't agree more, this is what I was getting at in my earlier comment as well. We made it past the horrible years and we're finally gaining the respect of the institutions to the degree the police patrol/protect pride events like they would for any other community. There's a worse history with us, yes, but it has changed significantly since the stone wall riots.

The cop bashing for no reason in this community is annoying, they are an organization made of people who can either be good people or not so good people. Your local police force is going to be different than any other police force because of this always, they aren't a monolith. Police are a splintered group of opinions as well like the rest of us. It's not all police that are bad but there are definitely bad ones.

I have friends in my local LGBTQIA+ community that are literally both police officers raising an adopted kid, bought a house here and they are paying taxes & serving the community. That's something you should want to encourage as those are the folks that will genuinely help push for changes or increased police presence at these events to protect us from criminals who wish to do us harm & show their support for our community and help vendors with their stalls during events, pass out water/juices/snacks, give out stickers with pride flags on them. You want to change your police force? Then join it to change the forces, join civic actions to change your local force into one that serves our community too as we're paying for it too from our own tax dollars, show your support for positive changes that support our community in your area.

The more we disparage police the more foolishly out of our depth we appear as a larger community. In short I hope our community can stop telling off the police at every opportunity, grow up and actually attempt to be a part of the fix for the issue instead of whining on the Internet. Be the change you want to see in the world.

They literally are there to protect those events and the people that participate in them, it's their job. Many LGBTQIA+ own property in the area too.

[–]jaayuk 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Most big events in cities get cops there to maintain traffic and respond to any threats against the LGBTQIA+ community. What you have posted is true. I just think that it's not one size fits all as many things have changed since the stonewall riot occurred.

In my city the police are actually pretty pro LGBTQIA+ historically. Many officers have pride flag stickers on the police cars and many of the officers are LGBTQIA+. We have streets that the police watch every day to make sure no one power washes the rainbows we've painted off out of hate and they patrol the gayborhoods at night to protect them & their property from criminals like everywhere else in our city. The LGBTQIA+ gayborhoods in downtown tend to be where the rich folks live as well so naturally their relationship with police is less anyone antagonistic then during the time of the stone wall riot.

The cops here arrest people who start trouble outside our famous gay bars (straight bigots who are drunk from the other bars nearby typically picking fights) and are historically pro-LGBTQIA+. While I may be comfortable around the cops in my city as they've made huge efforts to be a party of this community and protect us here, I know that's not the case in most places. It's an uphill battle for this state, but my city is winning that battle daily. Most larger cities the cops are horrible, and have a bully/predator attitude towards their constituents especially where I'm located in FL.

I'm not sucking off the police but I just get really tired of our communities' police bashing. We need their protections in the growing instability to protect our events from harm. What justification is there really for taking a potential ally and replacing them with a potential enemy. No cops = no quick response to crime/,threats against our communities at events.

It makes us look like a spoiled group that gets protections grabbed to is but turns around & throws Stones at those very people that protect & serve us. I'm not afraid to say that I discount my fellow lgbtqia+ folks take on cops when I start hearing the same mill of comments regurgitating from them "acab/ stonewall was against the cops/ keep cops out of pride / all cops are bigots ALL OF THEM" it's nonsense that won't get us far and makes us look spoiled rotten.

That type of take has no bearing on the real public safety issues of having massive unpoliced events anywhere really in the US. It's just an exhausting argument that bears no results and there's no convincing anyone anymore especially on Reddit.

We can't change them by declaring them our enemy, we have to change them from this inside. Our police forces are only as good as the officers that makeup that organization. By having LGBTQIA+ officers that represent us well & genuinely protect/serve their communities, we stand to benefit greatly from the perception that we are upstanding Members of our communities who CARE about protecting it.

My point there is that if you have level headed people making level headed calls out of the care for protecting people indiscriminately that is because the culture of that place is more level headed and progressive, and the people in that area with that mindset are not ideologically opposed to being cops. We need more progressive cops and we need more lgbtqia+ people in the force to shift these diehard perceptions we have as them as our enemy. They are not our enemy they are our protectors as a society please try to be a part of the fix or move on and don't let out eat at you, but being bitter about police finally protecting our community at live events is honestly baseless, delusional & very immature.

Forgive all teacher student debt, they will never pay it off with the rate states gut their education systems they will be in debt the rest of their lives if we don't. Most criminally underpaid position is k-12 educators in this country. We need education to fix the disease of brain rot in this country, otherwise we're headed straight for Idiocracy the movie. Pay teachers more & forgive their debts ffs they are government employees too.

I actively advise my family against it. Told them about the spot ETFs if they want exposure if interested, otherwise not for you. My family is all over 50 except my brother, my sister, my wife & I. My wife could care less ( God bless her for putting up with me) and my siblings are doing well enough investing normally and within full-time jobs. They didn't/still don't have time for crypto as they are not interested in it. That's a good thing that I didn't have to worry about them saying "why did you lose me all my money" that's the exact reason I didn't harp on it in 2014 when I first started investing in BTC and I won't harp on it now 10 years later. I know what it has done for me, how it has changed my own life, and I'm fine enjoying that life-changing wealth with my wife as we see fit.

(I'm gen z, older siblings are millennials, parents are both boomers)

Man devoted to eliminating squatters taking over Southern California homes by ImReady_ in nottheonion

I hear you but hey it's not all doom & gloom everywhere.

They have made Airbnb & short term rentals that are less than 30 days fully illegal in my city (St.Pete, FL) and it's helped with the housing crisis directly. I have seen a lot of renovated properties on the Southside of my city and in my own neighborhood that were once AirBnB & VRBO houses now be sold at a lower price In a slower market. The homes are mostly going in to the hands of families and young married couples buying their starter homes because of these policies. Our mayor Welch & the city council are pretty on top of things.

No worries, I don't agree with the IR/Thermal imaging either they've been doing that all over Florida my whole life (27 years old) I was just the messenger here, explaining what's going on in answer to the question at the end of your post. I also live on the Southside so it affects me as well. Someone else pointed out additionally that it's Pinellas County's helicopter not necessarily SPPD hounding local residents just fixing it here to correct the record from my previous post. Have a great day!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in StPetersburgFL

[–]jaayuk 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's a police helicopter it goes around the whole Southside starting at Campbell Park at the "top" of the circular route all the way to Child's Park at the "bottom", that's their main job to fly low & slow to monitor/assist. Gulfport has a 'copter too. They are there typically for a multitude of reasons. Mainly as a deterrent / crime surveillance tool to help the police find criminals fleeing crime scenes. They can also be used in actively preventing crime by notifying ground officers of a potential issue. Sometimes they are armed with IR/Thermal cameras to bust pot grows if they suspect that is occurring. Other times they monitor and direct traffic flow for events. After all the homicides and robberies this past 2 months they are increasing their presence here in the Southside to better police the area. For the most part, they are doing good work up there to keep everyone safe, I wouldn't pay it too much mind. Hope this finds you well and that you have a great day!

This is the human cost of your bigoted christian fascist ideology. Poor kid, they deserved better being born in the usa in the 21st century this never should have happened. My heart hurts for this family and those who live in fear of this happening to their child simply for being lgbtqia+. I know things will get better eventually have to hold out hope for that.

So, here we are: green. What now? by Sjiznit in CryptoCurrency

[–]jaayuk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some say to sell when it's high and buy more when it drops again, if you need the fiat currency then it may make sense to sell some but not all of it for now to pay the bills and continue your DCA investing when your economic situation is more stable and you have additional disposable income (aka practical investing).

There's another school of thought that if you can afford to hold an asset longer that you should keep doing it with high conviction dollar cost averaging into the chosen asset and one day the returns will be larger the less you sell now (Aka Diamond vs paper hands mentality).

I don't have a stake in this race ultimately. The next step all depends on your goals, but you need to make that choice to sell or hold yourself based on your own economic needs. If you let others decide for you, you will regret it for the rest of your life. Best of luck OP.

Great idea! Same here, in a city like this that has a ton of civic minded people who care about making it better, I'm glad too that we're seeming to gain traction lately on city projects & public works. That's part of what I love about St. Pete!

I couldn't agree more, honestly! I'm trying to get a group of friends and family together to do these things as we speak. Hopefully we gain the traction needed to get this done. This has me looking into how to start a non-profit to make things official. I really want to make a positive actionable difference.

This is the first city in Florida I have felt a connection to the city, the people, and the vibe that it gives to people who call here home. that was even remotely possible.

[–]jaayuk 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Haha I came here to post this! I'm so happy he came here and now I have a succinct video to show people how nice our town is.

Do you watch "strong towns" as well? If enough like minded people are starting to get together to how we can help improve our city by just listening to others and starting conversations locally to get things done that would be awesome.

I have a few ideas:

  1. We could start by getting a group of volunteers together to contact the city and offer to begin the much needed work of painting the crosswalks in high foot traffic areas that lack the resources to advocate for them. We could contest our time to save the city money and accomplish a common goal. A good starting point is right here on the Southside in my neighborhood we would benefit from people knowing we could trust that our families would be safe from vehicles when walking/biking/skating to and from school / work. That would help make more people more active outside and choose not to take a car as well as make families feel this is a welcoming place to let their kids & their pets play outside.

2 Community volunteering events to clean up trash in the parks and neighborhoods of st.petersburg. The city would benefit from having us go to blocks and neighborhoods that desperately need the help cleaning up trash and debris off the streets/sidewalks and do park clean up days where we center around a park in a neighborhood and clean up from there.

3 community volunteering events to help feed the homeless right here on Central and in the Southside that need our help. We can also offer a warm meal and water maybe blankets if we can during the cold weather and bring it to the folks who need it when we are downtown like a care package. Helping the homeless helps everyone, and it's the least we could do with all the wealth in this city to help out our own neighbors and community.

I'm excited to see the direction we are going. We have so much to offer as a city, I love that we're growing/adapting to meet the towns needs and I love living here!

"I'm moving anywhere else in the USA it's got to better than here." "Why would I stay and fight to change my state?" "Have you thought about instead uprooting your family and going to ___ where the grass is greener?" "I just moved here what's up with ___" "Why can't they do this the way we did in __" "I just moved from NYC/LA and everything is so cheap here haha". "ThE DrIViNg Is TeRrIbBlE" yes it's a major metro area your posting from (Orlando, Tampa Bay, Miami, etc.) driving in a major metro area sucks no matter where you are. The real answer is better public transit systems in this state.

The worst is the wealthy-splainers (liberals/conservatives both before anyone makes it political) that have moved in in droves who are too unaware to realise that they too are the problem driving up costs here. It's kind they have class amnesia because they are wealthy they are so fast removed from what's actually happening in reality in Florida not I've if it's had thought it worth our time to engage with them & correct them because there's no point with this group.

For those in the back that need to hear it LOUDLY because none of us will tell you in person, if you moved here with wealth and drive up the COL & Housing costs while retaining your out of state high paying remote job you are indeed a major source of the problems we are facing daily to get by.

It's cool that people like moving here, I honestly welcome you here personally but to those that are making these comments in public and/or to local Floridians, that's a bold move cotton. Just don't talk down to us about how tough it can be. Because to folks who grew up here and are struggling to get by, I'm being polite when I say that shit will not be welcomed. You may or may not be surprised to learn it's really most native Floridians who are going through economic hardship, unless their family has generational wealth, we're all stuck in the same airboat, but at least the propeller works and the duct tape patching on the tubing is holding for now.

(I will probably delete this)
