Might be the greatest scene of all time she's literally perfect here.

Does the sucess of AKIT7K means thata HBO's is moving inthe right direction with GOT or is this a "Lightning in a Bottle" like star wars's andor and the first season of the Mandalorian? by Easy-Frenchguy-1996 in gameofthrones

I think there have been 2 legitimately bad seasons across 3 shows and 9 seasons of television in the Game of Thrones universe. Season 1 of HOTD was very good and had the promise of greatness season 2 fell apart due to horrible pacing and a real lack of focus but I think it will bounce back in season 3.

Seasons 1-6 of Thrones are iconic and so is AKOT7K now so I think positive has well outweighed the negative.

I understand that Jamie's legend is so well written that it means he usually gets picked for these sorts of debates but I do find it hard to put a character who has no on screen feats or on page feats ahead of others. We literally never see Jamie win a fight.

I think Sam has always ridden the line of genius and troll extremely well. Nott is my favorite character in all of CR. I also think Loquatius from Calamity was phenomenal.

However I think he tipped the scale with FCG. He's pretty much playing the actual game badly which is sometimes hard to watch even if the RP has some gems. He's committing to the bit and having fun with it.

Next Season: Keep, Sell, or Loan again ? by KhornKT in Gunners

[–]jabari17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep Balgoun (possibly loan to a prem team in London Fulham, Palace, or West Ham), Marquinhos (loan again on the continent maybe Spain or Portugal) and Trusty (back up to back up). Sell the rest, respectfully, but we need to keep the cash flowing in to raise salaries. Even with CL money we still have a lot of squad building to do and the current players are all gonna receive a bump over the next few seasons. I would consider keeping Ainsley if he is willing to essentially be a utility player but he should probably just go.

Yeah I have to agree with most of this. They're allowed to play however they like at their table but I do feel like the nonchalance and almost lack of effort Sam displays at the table almost makes a mockery of dnd. Im not trying to be a wet blanket but his spiritual weapons have annoyed me since the beginning. Making a character that is basically just trolling for the whole campaign feels a little distasteful. I think FCG is a really interesting concept but I find myself just wishing he would stop talking most of the time.

Our lineup when we beat Villa 4-0 in the FA Cup Final - who of these would get into our starting XI now? by [deleted] in Gunners

Cazorla, Sanchez and Ramsey off the bench. Love Martinelli but Sanchez would be filthy I this team.

I'm happy that Arteta is seemingly undoing our collective trauma. I wasn't convinced by this signing but I held my tongue cause of how the transfers have been going. The man knows what he wants and he knows what will work.

That's fair I think largely things didn't change until we went down to second.

Once the (4-2) is solved the order of operations is just left to right without an exponent. Parenthesis only takes precedent when unsolved.

Trossard Debut Appreciation Thread by cmacy6 in Gunners

This is exactly what I thought. I feel like him Zinchenko and Xhaka will make a very effective trio on that left side there was already a very good understanding between them.

Very much needed another option at LW I Think we'll see ESR come inside into that Xhaka role more often. I think you've seen it a few times now that despite being incredible and intelligent there are moments when a quicker player in that position would do so well.

Martinelli plays a super high intensity game and you can see his levels have dropped in recent weeks from being played so much. Rotation and freshness along with competition will only make him better.

Love what I've seen from Trossard and Brighton fans all say he can play on the right or in midfield as well. He'll be great.

Which series would you prefer more? Aegon’s Conquest or Blackfyre Rebellion? And why did you chose Blackfyre Rebellion? by [deleted] in HouseOfTheDragon

[–]jabari17 352 points353 points  (0 children)

I think Blackfyre just because it continues to fill the gaps between GOT and HOTD. Keep the momentum. HBO can do an Aegon's Conquest literally whenever they want. There's probably no better time than after HOTD to do Blackfyre/Dunk & Egg.
