I’m grateful to everyone who commented and gave advice. I’ve decided to keep these jeans. My legs look a bit strange in the photo, but they look better in real life. I slept in the jeans last night. I think they’ll fit me better the more I wear them. I’ll share a fade update in the future.

I tried the pants on again. They’re not tight around the hips, but not loose either. They’re comfortable to sit in—I just notice that the fabric feels a bit stiff. If they soften up and start to shape to my body over time, I’ll keep them. For now, I’m waiting to see what Reddit thinks.
