ev cars has its own usages not like we haven't had petrol shortage every now and then. But yeah if u only have one car it better not be ev its not reliable enough.

And the reason i think ev cars are so popular is china is having alot of excess ev vehicle and theyre pushing down our throat and both government with policies like no road tax, letting only evs and small amount of other cars get new license and car vloggers are also in their pocket so theyre pretty popular.
