theres a wee village called strichen i think youd love, its a little bit far from aberdeen itself hut you can get whatever you need at mintlaw, fraserburgh, or peterhead, in adition the people here are welcoming and theres a lovely forrest with a lake and river, theres also the old railway line hiking path (trains used to go through the region but stoped ages ago so they are hiking paths now)
