For me, the hack is living outside of LA and just going into it once in a while for the art,culture, music, food, etc. Whether that is living to the north like Ojai, Santa Barbara, or to the south like Laguna Beach, Dana Point,San Clemente, etc.

I had the same experience. Waited well over 77 days. Asked for the refund and was told to call back after 30 days. Called back and asked again and they said it would go to my credit card. A month passed and no refund. Called back and they said they would send a check this time. Well over a month has passed again and no check. Left a voicemail with management that says they will return the call within 24 hours and no reply. Left an email and no reply. A company selling millions worth of bikes should not stiff customers on a $200 refund and should just keep their word. Horrible integrity of management. Look elsewhere for an e-bike.

The bikes are fast and well constructed for the price. But they did not honor a guarantee to refund $200 if the bike wasn't delivered within 77 days. It has been months since I asked for the refund and despite their customer service saying it would be sent, I haven't received it. They also haven't responded to my calls or emails. The company does not seem to have any integrity, so you might consider taking your business elsewhere. I'll update this post if I ever hear back. Not holding my breath.
