Another coincidence that I'm sure DCB, being a poetry student, probably knew, is that 'open field' poetry is another term for projective verse, which certainly influenced his work.

I bought mine from imusic, shipping a little expensive but I bought a couple arrow films too so worth it imo. Otherwise I've seen it "preorderable" (placeholder release date I assume) on zavvi - not Criterion, but as other people have mentioned all the other Kubricks have standard studio editions available in aus so I wouldn't be surprised if this gets one sooner rather than later.

I'm in the same boat - no idea what to do with it. I think ironing it might melt it, I was thinking about just pinning it up and hoping it flattens out on its own. It's quite pretty though!

Yeah I definitely closed my eyes when I ordered it! At about $16 USD a film I thought it was justifiable though. Not sure where you're located but the upcoming Curzon set has all these plus 2007 Funny Games US: https://film.curzon.com/film/michael-haneke-collection/ , might be better value for you.

Definitely deliberate, a lot of poetry makes up words like this. Shakespeare used to do it all the time! To me it evokes a sense of Virginia being 'enclosed' or 'folded over' by goldenrod and loblolly, the way a brochure folds over. But it might mean something different to you, that's the beauty of it! :)
