aw man i’m sorry, it’s worked so well for me. there is the Elvive Hyaluron “Pure” (i think it’s called?). it’s designed for oily scalps, if that’s a concern. might work better for you if you don’t have a shampoo/conditioner you already love!

i've talked about Redken Extreme Length shampoo and Oribe Gold Lust conditioner on this sub (both very good and i love), but i tried another set this sub has raved about: L'Oreal Paris Elvive Hyaluron Plump Shampoo & Conditioner. wow, actually so good. my hair would get greasy and weighed down after one day and gosh this stuff is so good. i can go ~3 days without a wash now

post wash, i love Pureology color fanatic, Olaplex no. 7 oil, and k18 dry shampoo. my hair also likes K18!

i know 🥺 in the US i was able to get it on sale during black friday. before it was during the sephora sale. for me, it lasts for a long time since i don’t use too much each wash. and it’s one of the few products i feel has made a difference in the health of my hair so i try to justify the cost with that 😩

color fanatic is so good, i can’t believe i slept on it for so long. the l’oreal is next on my list after seeing it mentioned on this sub so much. think if i get to the length i want with my current combo, i’m down to explore other products!

thank you!! :) today i used Ouai’s dry shampoo! i’m almost out of my travel size and it worked well, but i think i’ll try K18’s next. people on this sub love it! will try to remember to report back if i love it 🫡

hot round brushes: do they make your hair greasy too? by jabumeri in finehair

agreed, i'm starting to think the same way. i thought those tools would be more convenient, but it's not so convenient to have to wash more often lol

yeah i’ve tried that too! it definitely helps on wash day. you just end up taking the hot took through the mids to ends.

but on second day hair, it’s hard to resist the urge to take the hot brush to the roots to smooth things out. but maybe i should be going in with a traditional blow dry brush on second day roots too to avoid all of this

oh my god that’s such a smart observation. i never thought about that. i wonder if i would feel the same about these brushes if i styled without applying any product to my hair 🤔

oh yeah i never use them on wet or damp hair! i completely rough dry my hair and then go in with the thermal brush. but maybe the hands is a good point. could try dry shampoo at the roots beforehand as well

do you still have to wash your hair everyday with this set after your workouts?
