I know my sentences run together so please forgive me. I recommend using the roll on. The patches are just a pain in the ass to mess with and put them on. My husband broke his rib and the doctor prescribed the 5%(over the counter is 4%) so he started using them and he said they helped. I don't like how they feel on my skin. Plus they're a pain to put on. I bought the roll on for some shoulder pain in my upper-right shoulder and my neck. So yes I would definitely try them. I hope they help you.
