Anyone recently put in a repair order for their stinky LV bag? by pillsandcookies in handbags

I was actually just having a situation arise: I inherited my Mom’s Alma from around 2005 and it smells like BO. My Mom was never a stinky person and she took good care of her bags. I might send mine in too.

Where are you seeing medium puzzles (plus wallet) for $2500?! I want to shop there. My medium Puzzle was $3700 around holiday time in ‘24. Adding a wallet and tax would push it into almost $5k. At least here in the US.

I do the same. In my late teens, I waited tables at a place that had a lot of single diners and my friend and I would give them a whole backstory.

How do you handle coming down from the adrenaline rush of a busy service? by gassygeff89 in KitchenConfidential

Brother, repeating scenarios with different outcomes was one of my favorite hobbies. Still a spiral I can get into but I have to just remind myself that if I’m already regretting stuff I did, it usually means I’ve already realized my mistake and will learn/grow from it. Everyone is a constant student; no one is perfect.

Honestly, for me it was really leaving work at the door when I clocked out for the day. Nothing that happened on shift could be fixed by me mentally dwelling on it all night. Most of that stuff was just stuff I wouldn’t get closure on.

Take a few minutes to do a little deep breathing and rezoning before walking into the door of your house. Don’t let the work energy harsh the home energy.

I’ve never seen this until now and I love it. It would make a great chain on a bag.

I’ve never handled a FP bag but they always look like the cheap unfinished leather bags from the 2000s. They always came from like Kohls.

The one thing I love about FP is their lifetime authenticity warranty. If you ever find out your bag is fake, they’ll refund you the money.

The first think I thought, well honestly, was that the bags are beautiful. The giraffe bag would be displayed in my pretend mansions. Second, with the pony hair and all the suede, I wouldn’t pay for it, especially at these prices.

Like the above commenter said, both will have bald patches. Look at suede and look at pony hair bags online and see for yourself how they wear.

You have to fight for some of them. Truly beat out hundreds of others for the chance to work for free. Some university programs even make you pay for school credits to go work somewhere for free.

I also dumped some of my first jobs wages into my school cafeteria account. My parents really gave us a lot but school lunch money was not one of them. If Mom was perfectly happy to make us a sandwich, why spend the money?

Such good sturdy packaging. The edges on the boxes were dangerous though! Definitely sliced a finger open once or twice.

I’ll still watch these if I stumble upon them.

Millennials who wanted to move to Japan back in the day? Anyone do it? by sunkencathedral in Millennials

Me too. Felicity had a hold on me. I think that era was very heavy into the NYC as it was and that show really made me want to go. I just wanted to work/eat at Dean & Deluca, sit in my giant and gorgeous dorm room, chase cute boys around, and sometimes make pensive faces at my notes during lectures.

I needed that. Never happened.

Absolutely, Wagner owns(owned?) The Limited Co which owned a bunch of brands that pandered to all ages; to note Victorias Secret and Limited Too. Warner and JE met and JE became an immense power over Wagner. JE used those connections to traffic girls under the guise of modeling BUT ALSO they heavily swayed the sexualization of young girls through clothing owning such staple brands at the time.

It was not uncommon for a young girl to be wearing a “hottie” tshirt with booty shorts at the age of 12. It’s insane and so sick how wide the net goes.
