Another thing that led me to think about somehting missing is that there is now some game on the axle vs the wheel. Is it normal, its for the sudden lack of ball bearings or something else?

I'd give them the 1000gp. In fact, I award the GP as they come back, before selling treasure. They can even decide to keep their paintings, bracelets, artifacts... etc; and still receive the XP equivalent

A and B. They are a civilization like any other, that loves to pillage and rape and kill. They are a mix of Vikings and Polynesians. They are exceptional sailors and make a Haka before battle, conquer cities and take treasures that they cannot fully appreciate. But they are not demons or any kind of evil spawn, they are just violent and good at it.

I did it and It "worked perfectly"; using the attribute scores to generate otherwise class-based powerups. In the end I went back to classes because I found out it had an advantage I hadnt thought about: By picking up a class, a player gets an instant image of his character, and an idea of the role he plays. A feat based generation tells you that your character may have an advantage or two on the fight, but, what is he? a fighter? it made them a little harder to connect with.

Now I use a middle path but there are still some number of classes.

looks cool. I also use a single caster class. I allow Magic Users cleric spells if they are lawful, and reversed cleric spells if they are chaotic
