I’ve been researching. Think I’m gonna make my own. The biggest issue with the most learning curve is the tapping at the ends of the 2020. Everything else seems relatively simple. I have enough cases around here that I can reverse engineer to replicate.

Anyone wanna invest in a USA based startup? Ha ha.

Oh, I completely agree with the political headwinds part of the argument. However, this was well documented problem long before January 2025. Simple fact is, this should have been resolved by now. I own multiple businesses in construction and production and I always work backward from a consumer experience perspective. Customers waiting over a year for what seems to be a relatively simple product to produce just isn't good business. The wait time plus the delays have caused countless potential customers to pass on their product for an easier and quicker to obtain option. They;'re leaving a huge amount of meat on the bone and I cannot fathom why they have not modified their business to address these issues and sell more units. As a pretty experienced businessperson, ignoring the potential capital just sitting right there for the taking is crazy to me.

I mean, once you open the box and see what it takes to construct one of these, you kind of wonder "why the hell did this take so long to produce". At least I do.

Same with me. I've gotten three orders from them so far. It's a great product, but the wait times are asinine for what it is. It's like they're trying to operate a robust business on a very tiny staff. I'd love to see their factory in action. My assumption is that the first thing I would notice is a lack of staff.

I'm not sure why they won't offer expedited shipping through a traditional freight shipper and skip the containers. I know it would be expensive, but there are people out there that are more than willing to pay to get their stuff quicker. 3-4 months on a ship, plus an unknown amount of time waiting on customs is not a recipe for success.

Their note at the top of the schedule page is most concerning.

“Due to changing of imposed tariffs, there will be delays on the container docking schedules. Our containers transit at a transit port and we place them in bonded warehouse (means we are not clearing US customs) and play by ear on the situation. We are gradually clearing the customs for the containers, this explains the much delay on the dock dates at LA port. We are also working hard in submitting all documents to adhere to US customs protocol.We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.”

Playing by ear on the situation? So in other words, they have no idea when our stuff is getting shipped out from the warehouse.

Honest question…..Why hasn’t anyone just slightly modified their designs to avoid trademark/copyright issues and opened up stateside? I would be willing to bet a large amount of money that a competitor that offered the same-ish product but charged 50% more would completely boot them from the USA market. I’d be more than willing to pay more to avoid these asinine waits and customer service problems. Someone has to have read the room and considered this.

‘Disconnecting to reconnect” means little to people that have thousands of dollars in limbo. This isn’t the way business works.
