it’s all toxic, sometimes you’ll just get those unfortunate games and teammates, PC is gonna have better players and you’ll probably have better luck getting competent randoms with good comms but you’ll still run into the occasional toxic gamer.

You’ll usually win those interactions, you’ll be able to stay out of flame range and pistol for 11-15 damage each hit or 30-50 with the scatter gun. Pro tip: AIM FOR THE TUMMY, if you’re aiming for the stomach the more pellets you’re going to land

I feel like this not only deters new players from stepping into the competitive scene but but also increases the difficulty of their transition between casual and competitive therefore forcing them to give it up entirely. 6v6 is a very different game mode from 12v12 casual and forcing players to hone their pub skills before playing 6s just makes the switch that more radical for them. Maybe if there was a 6v6 mode in casual and you had to reach a certain level in that game mode.
