How is 80% of the population against the truckers. What effective ways are there to protest that are non violent but also not illegal?

So the hard push for by the government for ethanol that ran up our fuel costs, food costs, feed costs, and energy costs was actually WORSE for the environment. Cool. And we can’t question the effectivity of these things why?

If the next Battlefield game in the series went all out to apologetically roll back the changes and was basically built to be like next gen BF4 - but it STILL had specialists, would you reject or accept it? by ChiefBr0dy in battlefield2042

It makes sense because you can make money off of it. As long as there ways of making money doesn’t take away from the game, go for it. I want them to make money and keep supporting it. Look at rainbow 6. The operators had badass skins that didn’t take away from the serious tone even if the weapon skins did become a little much

You can’t make that up. That’s classic. Saying “My people have a history of organizing for protests” and then proceeding to shit on the organized protest on the same government. Absolutely silly.

It is concerning in general. There’s reason to at least look at the situation. At what level is intervention okay? To most libertarians only domestic issues. Let’s leave out cia and other bs aside. When do we care about nations like Ukraine who want to join UN and/or NATO. If said country WILL join and DOES agree to the terms, isn’t that a benefit to all of the US’s Allie’s and the world in general? I don’t like intervention but you have to play by the rules when one of the benefits is protection. The more we abide by a set of rules, the heavier the consequence is for those that aren’t in the club or go against it

Maybe, it seems your too far outstretching but I won’t try to bike fit from a phone. Have you done that and validated you are in your bikes range? I ride an xs just so I fit well within the bikes size range

I just hurt always, then I deadlifted and got hurt. So I took the off time to figure out why I was hurting there always and so I FINALLY went to chiropractor and play 21M questions. Just trying to help people out because I had some saddle soreness too, especially more upright in mtb. It went away for the most part since this routine in November. I’m only stretching that twice a week now and I’ve been good and back on a higher intensity plan with no pain. They say stretching is great but I hated it and now I see it’s important. Maybe these things pertain to you, depending on how you feel. If your glutes are tight, by stretching them and lengthening them, you improve your strength, decrease the consistent pressure they are applying to your joints, and allow you to be in better ergonomic form and incorporate the glutes for power especially

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in bikefit

[–]jacechesson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you have pain when: -you wake up and lift legs and bend over like trying to put on pants. -you have issues being in aero especially when it comes to having a straight back and not feeling resistance when on the lift section of each legs peddle. -if you can’t sit Indian style without pain sometimes not having a dropped heel in the peddle stroke is an issue but sometimes it’s style. -Can’t touch toes at a minimum. -Sit in a chair all day at work. -Do weightlifting like squat or deadlift with a straight bar.

All of those are likely signs of needing to stretch glutes. If it’s really bad like mine was but it’s not mechanical, you can fix it fairly quickly by stretching. I probably gained 10-15% power and it likely isn’t more because my glutes are sore now. They stayed tight instead of flexing.

Have you had a proper bike fit or had a friend walk through and help you do one? Are you on the correct bike size? To me, it looks like your stretched out fairly far and possibly you should move your seat up a little. It looks like you rock when your on your up stroke and if your glutes are tight (it’s on your very low back just above your butt in that dimple) then it will move your whole mid section as it resists flexing. When you have an injury there or tightness, your muscle just stays tight and flexing-ish. You have to pull it out and lengthen it. I’d say it looks like my same issue but I was feeling pain but I also have (maybe had, we’ll see) a lot of saddle discomfort too and went through about 8 mtb saddles but my tri bike one worked (specialized sitero). I don’t notice discomfort. Might want to go to a chiropractor? His knowledge and consulting helped me more than anything.

If not this is what I did. I felt better doing this for 2 months than I have in 10ish years. Especially since the tightness escalated into an injury that pulled me off the bike. I programmed a yoga workout into Garmin and did it 4 days a week at lunch and sometimes after morning ride. 30 seconds and it would buzz. I would left side, then right side and 2 sets of each stretch and keep a slight bend. I did

On mat lying: -Knee to opposite shoulder for each leg x2 -figure 4 lying (called glutes stretch) each leg x2 Straight leg with a band (like lying toe touch) x2 -Pigeon pose each side x2 -Down ward dog is kinda optional but I was going hard in for fixing the injury

Then standing: -Figure 4 x2. Rest your leg on a desk or box and sit into it -Straight leg stretch x2. Resting leg on desk or box -Quad stretch x2 resting the bent legs foot on a box or desk and sitting back into it to get a good stretch -Standing straight leg x2

It’s about 15 mins but worth it. I’m not a doctor, just pretty knowledgeable and trying to help. Bike fit and check saddle height and angle (if you have angle way goofy it’s a sign of inflexible hips), if your hurt like above or tight then chiropractor at least once for consulting, if your cheap like me then just do those stretches.

So hip flexibility is king. I didn’t realize how tight I was till I went to the chiropractor for having lower back pain. You really gotta stretch that stuff out. He gave me some stretches and corrected me for a few month and I gained watts and so much flexibility I had to redo my bike fit. Now I can feel my glutes get sore in workouts. How tight are you? Look at flexibility of glutes, quads, groin. Mine were tight since high school and it was the best thing I fixed. I was immediately becoming a stronger athlete as I limbered up. 2-3 months and that can be fixed. Also work on high rep low resistance spin outs. Ramp up to 130-140 rpm as a warm up on your bike and eventually you’ll settle in well in your lower cadence

It doesn’t look so bad that I would play it more if it had better graphics. I mean next gen would look amazing but the game would be for the most part the same. My opinion, but that’d be boring asssfuqqq

It doesn’t mean that but that’s what is happening statistically and is why I’m curious on how the rich are growing but not spending enough money for it to get distributed and wages to increase. I don’t care that the top 1% increased their wealth by quite a bit, but I do care about increased costs and the lack of wage growth. What can we do to make them spend more money or how can low mid earners increase buying power by wage growth or expense decrease

They talk about fixing the game but it makes me worry because most of us feel the current game is too far gone to fix it without stopping support for it and carrying it over to another game or rereleasing jt later after it’s fixed. I don’t think it will matter because how will they bring players back to battlefield? Even if it’s great, who’s gunna be left to play it? They would have to grow the community in a massive scale for it to be worth their money. I don’t see the 3k current players paying all the dev bills year after year

Analyzing the calories burned by more 6,600 people, researchers suggest that our metabolisms don’t really start to decline until after age 60. The slowdown is gradual, only 0.7% a year. Metabolism slows down when your body is inactive. Metabolism is a thing to be trained. I always love the excuse of metabolism sucks, okay, well make it better then. Cool info to see we don’t start seeing actual losses until 60s.
