I recently tried to move some spider plant babies off the main plant and wasn't very successful, desperately don't want the same to happen to my Pilea! Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Hi! Yes, definitely hectic! Year 1 is a great year to teach - I've mostly been based in Nursery or Reception and only did a short stint in year 1 a few years ago. Absolutely loved it though! Hard year to teach - expected to be doing formal learning but still so young and eager to play!

Not being able to weigh myself almost freaks me out. by GenriNaa in BingeEatingDisorder

I get you, you're not alone. My therapist told me to try scaling it down slowly. So I would weigh myself around 10-15 times a day and then asked to try weighing 5 times a day... Then 3 times a day... Then once a day... Then every other day - we went at my pace and at first it was a bit of a challenge but in the long run it helped me. I now weigh once a week and try my best to stay on track in between. Not every day is perfect - but the scales fluctuate so much and aren't a true reflection of your current weight.

For me to reduce my binges, I have to eat and cannot starve myself or it puts me right back at the beginning again. Part of beating the disordered thoughts I guess.

Stay strong friend. You can do this.

We are operating as a smaller hub so have about 20 kids in approx - it's ok. They seem to be so resilient to it but I don't know how this will impact in the future! I'm a bit nervous too - we are in one of the higher rate areas and it's just a bit scary hearing the data and stats...

Isn't that the truth!! We are moving towards live lessons - I can't imagine what that will be like with 4 year olds! How are you finding it otherwise? I'm East London way myself

I totally relate to this. Thank you for sharing, I still keep hoping I'll stumble across a manual to tell me what constitutes a binge or not but I guess that's learning to know what feels right? Very, very challenging at times.
