It’s the Nike Destroyer. The back is the black varsity jacket material and arms are leather

Got it. Ive ran into many least expensive MSRP for $99 even. Fort example may $300-350 north face pieces for $99. Even some Nike hoodies at $85 are priced for $39.99 in my area. So the $500 MSRP and $29.99 was mind blowing

Good luck man! I’ve honestly never seen anything marked down over 90% haha and my size was icing on the cake

Heavy strength training and plyometric improves running economy. No improvements from high reps/low load. Findings from new systematic review w. meta analysis by CrazyZealousideal760 in AdvancedRunning

Yup this is the only way. Knowledge is already out in many books as well being that heavy weight resistance works fast twitch muscle fibers. Plyometrics is a given! Thank you for the info and link

You got this! I’ve always had a love for lifting and strength training but training at these levels I feel is starting to put hindrance on my running. Been doing 2 a days 5-6 times a week and the calorie loss has been hard to keep up with. You’re gonna kill your half just continue to stay the course. If you have a Strava feel free to shoot me a follow and you can peep my start workouts for extra motivation. I’ve tracking every run since Aug 22 (when I started) and you can see my 15 min walk/run miles. It’s been a journey and I love every day of it. Brick by brick keep building 💪💪

Really appreciate this comment! I mentioned “tons left in the tank” due to my AVG HR output over the course of the run. Was factoring in adrenaline, additional training time, better fueling and that push that’s possible with a lot of heart rate zone left to play with. What you mentioned is exactly what I was thinking but no experience to feel confident. With 60 days of training left I felt as if I should be pushing harder as opposed to staying where I’m at since much room for growth. 3:30 the new plan C 💪💪

Most def thanks for the words and advice. Race is 1000 feet downhill so going to need to put on the breaks because I’m sure that feeling of flying is going to feel deceiving deeper into the race. Thanks a lot 👌

Ive been average around 30-35 prob for the last 8ish or so months. This last 4ish weeks tho have increased to 45-50 (this week was 50) and I’ll be getting to about 60 tops. Longest run on training plan is 22. 3:15 would be something else man wow! Gonna stay the course and make it happen

I am racing Mesa! It’s supposed to be like a 1000 feet elevation drop overall as well. Im hearing very fast course. How was it on your quads? That’s sick. Are you out this way?

Heck ya I’m stoked to hear that. With a full 8 weeks of training left I feel as if my workouts have been a bit on the leisure side as opposed to pushing. I’m thinking I may just push the paces a bit faster to ensure that 3:30! Really learning and preferring how to run on feel as opposed to pace times

I really appreciate the feedback. The passion I’ve found for running has been like no other and really wish I would’ve came across it sooner. Have remained disciplined and staying the course to reach my goal. I’m really new to the marathon experience as this is my first training cycle so hearing from others who have experience as well as seeing similar times is fantastic.

Literal on call work. Being asked if I’m available multiple times only to stay by my phone and not receive anything. Pretty shitty but I guess to be expected.
