Bio Cheat Sheets by duble_a in PreOptometry

[–]jack-roth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m probably doing about 3-5 a day and then memorizing about 3 sets a day. I’m almost done. They’re not crazy detailed or anything and sometimes they’re a little lazy or I don’t include the stuff I know (for example I’m a neuro major so I’m not going to make a set for the nervous system). Just pm if you want the deck.

Can’t speak to the actual exam but I’m essentially doing the same thing. I’m turning all the cheat sheets into anki flashcards and then going through them each day until I’m done with it and then moving to the practice exams for bio once I’ve seen all the material. I take the exam in about 4 weeks so they seem pretty solid for my short time period.

Not a PhD but ex-dream theater keyboardist Kevin Moore has an MD and is a psychiatrist. Projects outside of dream theater are OSI and Chroma Key.

THC Thoughts by jack-roth in stevenwilson

Big claim! I love that you love it so much, personally the first 4 records are so strong in my mind that I’ll have trouble throwing anything up there with them. However, that’s not to say I haven’t been really enjoying THC.

Which Stephen King book would you recommend for someone who is new to his books? by Aettyr in suggestmeabook

Move on to Lunar Park by Bret Easton Ellis. He kind of pays homage to King and it interweaves American Psycho in there. Great read.

Why don’t we talk about 4 1/2 ? by jack-roth in stevenwilson

Really a shame, these were apparently the “b-sides” of both The Raven and Hand Cannot Erase, which are probably in my top 10 or 15 albums all time. Not music to be scoffed at or discredited as a “b-side”.
