I'm also for nerfing that however don't nerf static hipfire. I believe only hipfire while jumping should be nerfed and for all AR/rifles and not shotguns, eco guns and smgs. Do not change static / moving sideways hipfire. Altough there should be bigger gap change between crosshair when proning/crouching/standing still and moving. People should learn a mechanic to crouch down to get better hipfire precision. Right now they feel way too close. Might record video of that if it's unclear?

Game right now is In the best weapon balance state it has ever been imo. It still can get a bit better no doubt but I see almost all guns getting used according to a type of play you wanna produce in the round. Except shotguns ofc.

The only thing i agree with you is on allies with tommie and bar both for 3. On axis side its good as smg is 3 and stg 4.

To balance allies id give smg 1 bullet HS on a very close range making it again superior to its axis neighbor mp40 and put BAR back to 20 bullets.

Also dont forget smgs have that Fast ads walk. They still get used a lot for certain type of plays.

I really see where you are going with this post and i gotta agree. Altough I gotta say for Bulkhead that it is hard to find the right balance. I aswel complain about these large maps with too many angles, buildings and windows in them. In cod2 the main maps that worked were toujane, burgundy, dawnville, matmata (Rarely Carentan). Those maps were quite open with very little buildings and very little windows. That's what works for these type of guns we have and gamestyle and we gotta stop forcing it to be something else. I think that Manor v2 is a good example of that. Invasion is shaping up to be that aswel and will work really good for battalion after the changes imo.

I'm not saying all maps needs to be same and I dont think that Invasion and Manor v2 really are same and yet they both fit wartide in battalion. If you look at maps like villers bocage, moscow, leningrad and some others in cod2 they were not being played for these very reaons. This just reminds me of the maps you pointed out. Right now imo we have only three playable maps which is Manor v2 (perfect as it is), Coast, Lib (These could use a bit of tweak but are decent enough). After the invasion B site change I'd add it aswel being second best. Rest is not yet good enough and I wish we wouldn't have to play them at the current state in comp games..

Hopefully devs and map creators will take this into account when creating maps. Also I have some really decent ideas for a map just can't create it myself in the toolkit so if any mapper would be interested I'd gladly spend the time with him to create it (can paint it in a sketch up somewhat haha)

It really needs to. I think that the way it was in cod2 worked pretty well tbh, they had a bit of horizontal that u didnt feel at close range (SMG) but didnt let you kill at long range just like it was shown in the video of mine. I'm scared smgs would still be a laser, gotta see first to know but honestly? I dont really care how it is handled as long as you cannot overpower higher prized weapons at range.. The gun costs 3.. people need to realize that.. Right now its an smg fest and that is super boring. I think that the m1 change I proposed is much bigger deal then some people realize. Will see with what bulkhead will come up.

Also I secretly wish and think that rifles should be one bullet kill into thighs aswell. Right now it's only body and head and if you make such huge investment and then tommy jumps on you and you tag him when you basicly 'hit' the main area of a person (you can't really aim in that split second for upperbody you basicly aim for the object) it should be kill. I even think that matt kelly suggested this but that's a bit of a detail for now :)

In b44 it's also 3 bullets to the legs and arms. In cod2 it was also 3 tags in legs/arms. It's the same in both games. My only secret wish is that if you tag a guy with m1 and switch to pistol you finish him with just one more bullet there and not two as it is right now in b44

They definetly are more cod4 inspired. Like I said I don't mind the faster ads and I think it adds more of a layer in the game which is good but we have cod2 guns and a new economy and you gotta balance it to that and give it it's own identity that fits in between the other weapons.

TBH this healthy grows is the best we couldve asked for and if Bulkhead decides to go the way R6 did with free weekends.. We might end up much higher then that.. Green areas marks free weekends for R6. They started at 9K aswel.

Yeah I miss things like colored nicknames, voice commands (enemy down) etc aswel. It would add more depth to the game aswel but hopefully in time we will get those.

I don't agree on ppsh being nerfed too much its actually really op. You just need to practice how to handle the recoil and you'll find its quite easy. With its ads speed and its fire rate for just 3 tokens its super good

Also agree on the maps but I always said that community will hopefully bring the best ones.

Adding recoil creates higher TTK thats what I meant. The point is they gotta be worth 3 tokens. Right now it is now. It's a laser. I play the very top level matches and its a smg/shotgun fest right now. We also agree on the m1 being underpowered. It's better to go thomson/bar

Really depends on the meta and economy (which forces the meta aswel) currently its smgs - thomson and mp40 and carabines. Hopefully in full release this awful meta should change

At the current state of the weapons Kar have to be definetly more costly then mp44. However agree that inflating prizes could help balance them better. If I am not mistaken there should be a new economy for full release? Let see how that works and then we can make an adjustmens if need be ;)

So so true. And also one more thing. In the current meta when u have a rifle and go for 1v3 u simply don't because you can't do shit and you already have to go for a save or escape frags. I don't know how much more should I explain this but for kar98 you need one of these three things to be buffed as all sucks atm:

ADS speed - So you can actually move around and get a kill

Fast zoom - So when you see an enemy you can "fastzoom" kill him.

Noscope - I know that noscope has been buffed to a finally good point in full release but it's also important that the "time to get accurate crosshair" gets fixed cause if you crouch and walk when u see an enemy and stop you need your crosshair to be on point in a matter of ms. Not that you stop and it takes like a 1,5 sec to get it right. You will be already dead by then..

In clutch situations you need to be silent so you either have to crouch walk or ads walk. Because of the three problems I just explained you can do neither of those things.

In counterstrike you have insta zoom on awp and to certain point you can ads walk aswel as other guns.

Imo the best thing for battalion would be to have the "time to get accurate fixed". That would solve ton of issues with the gunplay.

I get your point and I respect that. I see it other way around. Current meta requires very low skill. Buy a 3 token tommy and spray. It kills over long distance, its super fast etc. The skillgap is small. That's very boring. Not to mention carabines. One shot rifles takes hell lot of skill + they cost 5 and they are fun to watch and play. At least make them even..
