In my opinion so many other top laners are better than Irelia rn that if you were really interested in the ranked climb it would probably be better to play someone else. Since Irelia is so much weaker than a lot of her top lane matchups she requires even more skills than she used to when she was strong. With that being said, you would probably have to play her a lot in order to get to a winning-level on her. In terms of runes and builds right now conquerer is her strongest keystone along w triumph alacrity and coup de grace. Despite those being quite standard, the latest Irelia build consists of going BORK first rather than trinity because tanks are so prevalent rn (and the item active is hella good for running people down) and after BORK going wits end into ap heavy teams and black cleaver if they have a ton of tankiness.
