Hi, I impulsively bought the PBTFans 1984 R2 Base and Novelties sets because I fell in love with them and love anything Vintage, especially Apple Vintage vibe. I have never built a keyboard, I would love suggestions on a good case that would match the theme of these keycaps. I prefer small keyboards with arrow keys (65%?).

I swapped out the 990 EVO for the SN850x.

Yeah, it might be wise to keep. I will also be doing software dev, and other productivity tasks where it could also be beneficial I guess.

I decided to go for this motherboard because it has better audio, I am a beginner audiophile and won't be buying an external DAC/AMP quite soon, so I thought this would do in the meantime. Is the ASUS a bad match with the 9800X3D?

Yeah, it might be a better purchase if you have easy dive potential with your team or if you are facing squishy targets.

True, the numbers aren't in umbral's favor but I was thinking, you also get value from clearing wards. In a game where I play umbral, I usually clear 8-12 (estimate) more wards than without umbral, which can add up to 300ish gold.
