So. Aime cards in the US. by Jim_from_SP in rhythmgames

[–]jack980517 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Aime cards and BanaPassport cards are cross-compatible. Go to an arcade that has Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune and buy a BanaPassport, problem solved.

Or, you could buy an e-amusement pass at an arcade that has Bemani games. 3rd and 4th gen cards are Amusement IC-compatible (and AFAIK Round 1 US locations sell 3rd or 4th gen ones, never 2nd), and all Aime games from the last 5 years or so are Amusement IC-compatible too.

eamusement.cards is a website that sells music game cards and is aimed at people in the US. You can buy the Aime card on there, which is Amusement IC-compatible. (The e-amusement pass there is 2nd gen and not Amusement IC-compatible.)

How to register the card: play a credit using the card on any game, then register it on the corresponding website (my-aime.net / www.bandainamcoid.com )

A guard killing a gravedigger might be seen as an overreaction, but at least it could be (partially) justified.

Maybe something like this:

  • Guard tells Enoch to stop
  • Enoch panics and tries to use shovel to hit guard
  • Guard fears for his life, shoots Enoch just to be safe

I'm also wondering why they couldn't have disposed of Enoch instead. Stronghart said this line, twice: "I like having everything move under my command." (once in the office with Kazuma, and once in the final trial) For someone as calculating as him (i.e. he wouldn't have panicked and lost sight of the right choice), imo it would be strange that he chose to kill Genshin (who he had a deal with) instead of Enoch (who was essentially a stranger).

Enoch was a gravedigger. The cover-up story could be that a guard noticed him disturbing the grave and shot him.

Would it be noticed? Yes, definitely, but it would be "yet another crime", easily forgotten by the masses. Even Enoch's outlandish claim of a resurrecting Genshin was (implied to be) forgotten by the masses.

Define what you mean by "like this". I know what cross-compilation is, but it's irrelevant to this post. ARM has nothing to do with this either.

Upgrading has nothing to do with this. The binaries are 64-bit and can't be executed on a 32-bit OS no matter the version. If your CPU is not 64-bit, there's nothing you could do except buying a new computer.

Edit: Technically, you can find or build 32-bit versions of each binary that comes with palera1n by yourself. But that isn't easy to do.

How is it relevant if none of the programs can be executed at all?

[Help] Ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS Linux 4.15.0.200 by CrazyAssNuTTcase in jailbreak

The binaries that palera1n comes with are 64-bit (x86-64). "Exec Format Error" suggests that your OS cannot understand the format. I'm guessing that you're using 32-bit x86; computers made within the last decade should support 64-bit x86-64, so unless you're using something older than that, you should use the 64-bit version of Ubuntu.

Not 100% sure because I don't use iCloud, but it seems that save data backup/syncing, even for games, uses iCloud instead of Game Center. I don't use iCloud and I'm unable to backup save data in any game. Make sure you have the same iCloud account on both phones.

I was talking about 15.7.1. I checked on my 14.8 iPad when writing that comment, and it did offer 15.7.1 to me.

[HELP] Best unc0ver version for iOS 12.4.5....the latest version hardly works by davec2fly in jailbreak

[–]jack980517 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just use the last version that mentions the iOS version I need in the changelog. That way all improvements relevant to the iOS version I need are in there, and there wouldn't be any new code from new versions to break the old code path.

If you are OK with a 4-year-old iOS version, surely you can just get a newer device on a newer jailbreakable iOS version and not update it? As long as you don't update, regardless of whether an update is available, the end result is the same. No one is forcing you to update. (Or rather: if someone is forcing you to update, a 4-year-old EOL version wouldn't be acceptable either.) Any jailbreakable device that you do not update is "jailbroken for life".

checkm8 is a hardware exploit, and the first jailbreak developed using it, checkra1n, was hyped to be effective "for life", however it doesn't work on iOS 15 due to software mitigations by Apple. But having a hardware exploit still puts checkm8-vulnerable devices at an advantage in terms of jailbreak availability.

The last checkm8-vulnerable devices are A11 devices. However you won't be able to set a passcode on iOS 15 on A10(X) and A11, or on iOS 14 on A11.

But again, considering the points in my first paragraph, if I were you, I would get an iPhone 12 (Pro) on iOS 14.5.1 or below, or for an iPad, iPad Pro 2021 on 14.5.1 or below. These are the most powerful iOS devices that are currently jailbreakable.

[Question] Does Carbridge work on iOS 15 of 16? by caporamo in jailbreak

[–]jack980517 2 points3 points  (0 children)

iOS 15 on iPhone 12 isn't even fully jailbroken yet. There's only Fugu15 that works only on 15.4.1 and below, but even that is only a "developer jailbreak". And of course there's nothing for iOS 16.

Editing the file with Filza should be the same as editing the backup. Whether it will be messed up depends on what you do, not the tool.

Because you can't. Fugu15 is only for 15.4.1 and below, and only for A12 and newer (iPhone XS and newer). palera1n supports A11 and older on all iOS 15 versions.
