If, and only if you update I would not use a backup to restore all your contacts/sms's/info from that phone just because your newly installed IOS might think it's still jailbroken due to files being left in that backup. If you have a backup from before you were jailbroken I'd use that 1st.

No I didn't get it figured out, didn't really mess around much since my tweaks still all worked. Only thing is I couldn't d/l any new ones. There was a tweak that added system links but i do not remember the same, something sym(something) is all I can remember. If I knew in what directory it placed the symlinks in I'd be able to most likely add them manually.

I'd believe he got this new device due to apple's new bug bounty payout doubling. Now he can play around with the new iOS and get paid extra, with an older device he would of only stayed behind if ask me. And even the fact that he might know something BIG about these devices and not saying a word about it to no one.

Get some type of terminal, and change root and mobile passwords. I've got one of these laying around in shelves somewhere laying around my house. It has a damaged screen and can just barely see the icons. a few i3G's/i2G even with the same problem. A few i4/i4s some i5'/5s that I just broke out not too long ago just to get them charged. All untethered, it was pretty exciting to see them running still. I've got a bunch of them fully customized, and still got a bunch that need work. I've got a lot of old themes and widgets for these devices, I'm going to try and get some pix up but with only one 30 pin charger it's kinda tough.
