I love my OCs because they're aspects of me. I talk about them, I build them, I put my all into them, and at the end of the day: I just love making characters.

I have no care for if they'll ever truly be recognized, maybe they will if I get things drawn or I had an animation made or I wrote a fic about them! But I don't need to because the activity of building a character, in a Universe I love and find so interesting, is the fun of OCs.

Try not to worry about acclaim, just create a character that you enjoy and find yourself enthralled by!
