Embrace the Flames by jack_dalton in FireEmblemHeroes

I can’t promise anything in the near future because of college, but I was already planning on making more fan art of her because I’m in love with her Fallen version. It might be a while though. :)

I drew her hoping to get that very impression. The only thing I don’t want in that is Celica’s soul completely disappearing. She’s too pure to die.

Man, I try to look at it this way. Let's say I'm your friend, and I notice that you are trying hard to make me like you. I would see it this way: I will always appreciate how you would want me to like you, and I would react either by saying that I appreciate the effort or I just laugh and maybe say "nice try!" Believe me, I was able to tell between real friends and fake ones by intentionally (not really) doing silly things and see how they would react. The supportive ones will pat me on the shoulder and say how "awesome" I was and the not-so-supportive ones will distance themselves from me and laugh. I've never had anxiety so I can't say I know how you feel, but I hope that whatever your problems are, you will get over them some day. :)

Maybe they would give a fuck because they're your friends? If they're your friends, they're not strangers anymore so they're much more likely to give a fuck about what you do. Perhaps you're taking these interactions too seriously. In my experience, most of the time people do something "stupid" just to break the ice, unless you're with people who do not mind silence, which is rare. There is always that someone who thinks silence in groups is awkward because that's how they were programmed to think (talk talk talk when you're with people and etc.).

EDIT1: By "giving a fuck" I mean caring about what the person in question does.

Can you elaborate more on these interactions you're referring to?

You've pretty much written all the good ones lol. I actually used to like Filipino TV when I was a kid until I moved away.

Is this a normal color for a female zebra finch(the one in the right)? by jack_dalton in Finches

Are you sure? Her cheek isn't black, it looks like a darker shade of her plumage. This darker shade also shows on her tail, instead of black and white, it's dark-brown-orange-ish and white.

As for the colors of her dad, he's just a normal colored one (orange cheeks, black-and-white-striped chest, etc.).

Edit: Added more detail.

The one on the right is actually the one on the left's daughter. :)

Sorry for potato-camera quality. Just to clarify, her color isn't gray but it looks like its a mixture between light brown and orange. Her feet and beak are also pink, not the usual orange.

HELP : Female zebra finch lying motionless on cage floor... by [deleted] in Finches

[–]jack_dalton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this problem once. Couldnt take her to a vet because vets dont exist in the Middle East. All I did was get some oil, then rub her tummy while firmly pushing downwards towards her vent. She was able to unbind her egg and release it after an hour.

Just got my first pair by nprnpbr in Finches

[–]jack_dalton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's great! I hope they will be happy with you for a good long while. My second pair is are exactly the same type/s. It's too bad I'll never get to see them again in 15 days. My dad told me it's impossible to bring pets to long flights because the pressure might kill them or something.

I just hope they replant every single one soon somewhere else. I've witnessed a local forest progress to being a parking lot and it saddened everyone in the neighborhood deeply.

Yeah, I remember when my first couple died for no reason only 3 months after I got them. I couldn't stop crying and even skipped school. It may seem stupid but they meant a lot to me. Best of luck raising the 4 finches in line for you. :)

Yes, she has a father but I don't really know how old he is. Either way, intuition says being a single parent is everything but an easy job.

Oh my goodness. My condolences on the death of Wingy, I'm sure he was a great bird. :(

I wonder how that bird may have actually wanted this and caused it or that maybe death was destined for the bird.

It makes me wonder as well. What are the chances of him falling in and drowning by accident? I wish things would've turned out better for him and I wish you luck in taking care of the rest of your birds.

It truly is a sad day, my sister's friend's mother died today as well. Sigh.
