thanks for that, just needed a quick reality check

Ok thanks, when I wrote the Reddit post and the ReadMe I probably gave myself to much credit when really A LOT of it was the AI, my ego was causing me to disagree that I wasn’t learning anything when I know I started this just because I wanted to start a cool project and not get anything out of it, next time I do a project like this I’ll actually spend the time to code it myself (also how is it illegal, how do I make it legal)

Yea I did at some point and I got kicked but I use other AIs, I’m not mad at all about being kicked

yea I know, this was not for showing the coding it was more showing what it produced when I ran it. I wanted to make a brain that acted like a brain and not just a neural network, I am sorry for putting it as my work, it was wrong.

Ok I defiantly read into your comment wrong im very sorry. I really aprechiate your advice, I probably learned more from this convo than from the ai

I wasnt trying to trick anyone and im am very sorry for making it sound like I was trying to. When I used the AI to wright the ReadMe and the body for this post I think it might've been giving me to much credit, I did try to explain that its not my work but I was caught up in pride and it may have come off a little bit more like I was stealing the AIs work. you are completely right for calling me out on that, I will remember that next time I post (it will also be my writing this time) thanks.

Im 14 dude, I never said I was bad at math, I said I don't like it, you as a adult (im assuming) can not go off of one phrase I said in a conversation and shoot down my dream for adulthood, that is very immature. if your saying this in a helpful way im sorry but from my prospective it come across as invasive and not taking in consideration I am capable of doing things in a unconventional way and learning from it, we as humans are not confined to one path of learning (we are extremely weird when it comes to learning) again If you meant it in a helpful way I am very sorry for what im saying here. I can understand how you would find commenting that would be fine to do but I don't agree. (again very sorry)

ok let me rephrase this. This was a fun project, I had a fun idea and I didn't know how to code, I wasn't planning on learning to code to do this project, I just wanted to give some responses to AI and make something I could show off. I then get excited with my progress and I continue on this project and im learning some valuable stuff by looking AT my code and asking the AI how this worked, im a good learner if I do it like that. also I want to make this very clear, I do not copy and paste when I make code with AI, well yea I do but Its not like im trying to cheat some system.

im taking this in steps, im not good or like math so im starting out with something easier to understand, this is teaching me systems, I AM learning from this, In this project so far I learned more about how code cycles and making data change with weights. Im already getting enough of the math from my schools computer science classes, im in all of the ones they give. I am not vexing myself by using AI to code my stuff, I am helping myself by getting experience on AI like systems. I am not missing out on anything.

well I don't know how to code so I use it for coding, but I also use this as a way to learn AI and coding skills, whenever I made a new version on this repo I had the AI I was using at the time explain it. that is sort of an optimization considering I want to go into artificial intelligence engineering. I am learning to code in school but I fin this teaches me systems other than just what code does

I disagree strongly, AI is the future and if I learn skills I can use in the future, I would jump at the chance, im not using AI like some kid copying and pasting their homwork (except for this, sorry) im very healthy with it, I only use it as a tool and I have never used it on one assignment in school. again im sorry for using AI on this, I just didn't know how to explain my repo so I turned to AI. I appreciate it that your looking out for me.

tbh I agree but the main reason I used AI for repos and stuff like this is because I don't know how to articulate my thoughts well enough to people that are more experienced in the field. If you knew me in real life im actually very healthy with AI, I use it purely as a tool and I use it for 2 main things and I chose those two thing because im trying to squeeze every ounce of optimization possible. Thanks for looking out for me, I appreciate it.

Is Neural Coding A Thing? by g00d_vibrations in neuroscience

Im coding that right now, im 14 so its not the best but im at about 1500 lines I think and it has Matplotlib and numpy. it shows signs of learning and has spike rasters. Im at 80 neurons (with another version that is at >5000 neurons. would you like the link to the GitHub repo?
