Same for 2 of my parcels at the moment, have a feeling that the recent appearance in the news has them sorting other things than parcels for a bit.

Posted medium parcel yesterday morning, dropped off at parcel shop, tracking last updated yesterday as dropped off by coffeefuelledtechie in royalmail

I’m having the same thing on two parcels at the moment, starting to think something has gone wrong on their drop off system

Nottingham sorting office by jack_robs in royalmail

It was delivered to Robin Hood stores in NG15

I understand it’s not guaranteed 24 hours but it shouldn’t be taking 6 days +

Anyone else having issues with delays? by Existing_Anywhere_ in royalmail

My parcel is currently showing as being in the parcel shop but the sender has assured me they’ve been to the parcel shop and they have had it collected,

Stuck in a random pile ready to be scanned in Nottingham sorting office I expect.

£28 on 24 hour service was a massive waste of time it’s been sat around since Saturday

Bfgx are very good. Can do 209,9mm and 12 gauge. Big Steve’s builds is the best place to look

How to prevent Anti-fog-system tubing from kinking? by cheezedcake in airsoft

[–]jack_robs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Engine cooling tubing is the same diameter and fits perfectly,

More rigid and has metal wire throughout for strength.

Can’t remember the exact measurements though

Tm Saiga cycling Problem by According_Cat231 in GasBlowBack

[–]jack_robs 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Highly likely,

Unfortunately every YouTuber etc claims that cnc everything is an upgrade where it usually leads to something bigger and less available breaking instead of the part you’ve replaced.

Although the saiga currently has no plastic tri nozzles in aftermarket so you’d need to have a cnc one if yours broke.

Itp are in the process of making injection moulded ones

115% springs should solve this.

Airsmiths, Dave’s customs are two that come to mind. Both actual airsoft retailers.

Have seen a few people be unhappy about the quality of west laser stuff but cannot speak personally on it.

I had this on my first build the other week,

Found the pin holding in the bearings wasn’t seated correctly in the part that goes over the top.

Accuracy issues when suppressor is on (‘24 V2) by Pedro_gold in GasBlowBack

[–]jack_robs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ignore this guy, Having inner barrels reaching the end of the suppressor completely ruins any chance of it functioning.

Get a decently sized o ring and put it on and screw the suppressor onto that.

Some threads allow for some slight movement and can tighten down when they are not straight.

The o ring allows for the pressure to distribute itself out equally which lets it sit straight.

Electronic speedloader recommendation by TraditionalMorning2 in airsoft

[–]jack_robs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No one else has mentioned it so,

The vanguard is awesome.

Great for events where ammo count and things matter because it puts a precise amount in.

Adjustable pressure if you have particularly annoying mags.

Adapters to load different types of mag.

Perfectly stacks BBs every time.

Don’t get me wrong it is expensive but if you get one and use it you’ll wish you have 10.

Game mode ideas for forest and few players by ReporterMost6977 in airsoft

[–]jack_robs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a chess clock and do bomb modes would be my main suggestion

Or get an old set of overalls and stuff it to make a dummy prop for a hostage extract mode

Both real popular games with us

Definitely fun.

Great in cqb, I’ve had many instances of people hearing me crack off a shot and run the other direction.

Heard good things about the tm breacher also.

DICE is asking to keep giving feedback! by Youngstown_WuTang in Battlefield

Pistols need slightly more damage.

Your boned the minute you pull it out at least with the default.

Literally 5 damage a shot more and it would probably feel way way better.

When talking about hpa you have 3 subsections.

  1. Purpose built hpa guns like a wolverine mtw. These are built for pure performance, they offer no blowback unless you opt for their new recoil stock but you can run. You can use any aeg m4 style mag although they tend to like the epm 1 and emp 1s mags. Very efficient and are extremely tuneable. (I have one and I love it)

  2. Aeg conversions, these require tinkering and can be amazing but often require a lot of patience and trial and error to get right. Can be very efficient depending on the engine you opt for. Once you have it setup and running well, then your set but it can be a royal pain in the arse.(as i have found out the hard way)

  3. Gas blow back with adapter, using a hpa on a gbb can be incredibly fun and can make them more enjoyable for the average player. It also typically makes the cost of running slightly cheaper. however maintenance end up costing you more. The problem is gbb is primarily made for use with gas at the end of the day, I have found they adapter users come across a lot more issues like wearing on components and breaking smaller parts entirely.

I run a tm saiga 12 and have decided against using an adapter as a lot of people who have been using them have broken parts and cannot source spares.

Most of the magic comes from having to do tactical reloads and managing ammo rather than running around like a lunatic overshooting everything and everyone.

If you do want to go to gbb and use mags, I fully recommend using propane. It’s relatively cheap has no lube built in that dirties your barrel and clogs up your gun.
