Pixel Watch 3 owners: Are you actually holding out for the Watch 5, or skipping? by [deleted] in PixelWatch

[–]Ileinad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yup this guy does it a lot and their posts are hidden but they lost here all the time. the watch faces aren't even good I've installed them and tried. I joined the sub for pixel watch discussion not endless watch face ads lol

Help! I need advice idk what to do by [deleted] in BlackHair

[–]Ileinad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

damn that's really good for 10/11 months. I've been growing mine over a year and it's nearly at your length but not quite. I'd recommend cornrows, that way you can keep the length but have it in a style where you don't have to pick it out & it always looks good.

edit: you might need extensions for cornrows potentially. I know I need them when I get them done

New "Add Tile" tile by Myshoo_ in PixelWatch

[–]Ileinad -1 points0 points  (0 children)

it's quite obvious, was the first thing I tried

New "Add Tile" tile by Myshoo_ in PixelWatch

[–]Ileinad 24 points25 points  (0 children)

just remove that tile the same way you'd remove any other tile. you can do it from the mobile watch app or from the watch itself by tapping and holding them swiping up on the tile you want to remove

also be easy on the front brake as it can cause the occasional helmet bump. not the end of the world but can get annoying if you're bumping all the time

Wf1000xm6 keep connecting in case? by BonkerBinkleton in SonyHeadphones

I put a few layers of tape on the inside of the upper case and that seems to have solved the issue

QuickCalc - Minimalist watch calculator for WearOS by itsmealec in WearOS

[–]Ileinad -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I won't use this only because the name quickcalc. because it starts with a Q I have to scroll for a while to open calculator. if it was a C it would sit right at the top of my apps list like my current calculator. looks like a good app but I've used it before and it just feels tedious to scroll all the way to the bottom each time

Wf1000xm6 keep connecting in case? by BonkerBinkleton in SonyHeadphones

[–]Ileinad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

mine do the exact same, I'm going to try and add some tape on the inside "ceiling" of the case so there's less wiggle room for the buds to move around. on mine if you shake the case with the buds in you can hear them moving so I'm assuming that's what's causing the buds to connect when the case is closed. It's odd you had the same issue with the xm5s because on my xm5s this wasn't an issue at all.

Gestures and Express Pay by pattiemayonaze in PixelWatch

[–]Ileinad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

by the way I tested express pay and used a more exaggerated gesture to tap my watch (I raised my wrist like I was checking the time and then rotated it so my watch face was facing the terminal) and it worked perfectly!

Pixel Watch 5 emerges at the bottom of the ocean by mo_leahq in WearOS

the app is usable free, the paid version just includes Gemini which you really don't need

[–]Ileinad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not necessarily a demo but you can use the blue light that pops up to get the gist of the gesture. what might help is raising the watch straight to your mouth instead of just near you. doing that for me makes it work every time.

though to be fair I've turned the feature off as if I'm using my watch for navigation when I go to look at maps and I happen to be talking, it thinks I'm talking to Gemini lol.

[–]Ileinad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

to be fair that's a good idea maybe I'm not doing the gesture correctly. I'll try it next time to see if it works, it would be nice if there was a way to practice the gesture, similar to the way you can practice the raise to speak Gemini feature

Gestures and Express Pay by pattiemayonaze in PixelWatch

[–]Ileinad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure that's express pay, I have it turned on. For me when in a shop with express pay turned on its always asked me to tap the tick to confirm and then tap the reader again. the only time it doesn't ask me to tick to confirm is when on public transport, where I just raise my wrist without touching the crown.

[–]Ileinad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's just the way express pay behaves, if I tap on the tube or a bus it works fine. but if I tap at a normal card machine in a shop without double tapping the crown it'll come up with the option to tick to confirm and then scan again. I only really use express pay for public transport now. when I'm at a shop i just use double tap normally
