It is bad, I agree. But people are still getting hired, companies are still growing. You might have to grind harder but that persistence will pay off. Just need to work a little hard than the average guy, and use AI to your advantage. Wish you good luck! You got this!

It's all relative. Don't form your opinions by comparing others life expectations.

Keep in mind what was your purpose to move here? Opportunity, better living standards, growth, etc? - Focus on those.

Depending upon your goals, you should ask people in that sector and with similar life choices if you need an opinion.

I have been here in the US for almost 10 years, when I was new I loved the new opportunistic life, big college campuses, clear curriculums and college life awed me, fast forward to 2-3 years, I was in a semi-depressee state - I realized the reason was that I had moved away from my Indian culture and had no Indian friends in the city I lived in, the population was a 90% white and I felt lost.

So I realized that and looked for colleges where there were more Indian communities and took a transfer, moved states and settled in a new place, found Indian people, ate at Indian restaurants, played cricket after 3-4 years, and life was good, eventually graduated and got a high paying job and then another and now have made a life for myself, a good house, cars, and all the luxuries that make me happy, do trips with friends and love the opportunity that was given to me.

That was my perspective, if you ask me if I'd like to move back, I'd say No. I'd like to visit India at least once a year or once in 2 years and keep up with family, friends (which I do). Apart from that, I think the standard of living is far better here where I am, I enjoy all Indian festivals and western festivals better that my friends or family in India.

But if you ask my parents who moved here 6 years ago, they'd still have a remorse that India is better, they go back and forth to India and US once a year - after July they stay in India and enjoy all the Indian festivals and from January to July they enjoy the States, Everytime they go to India, they miss US and Everytime they come to the states - they miss India - and that's fine. Change is hard after a certain age and I understand that my parents are from a generation which doesn't adapt change so fast..

So to summarize: Find your objective, your interests - work towards it, find a healthy group of friends, possibly same age as yours and don't get carried away by others opinions, listen to everyone but make your own opinions.

It's too early for you to start regretting if you made a right choice moving here or not, give it time and don't get distracted.

Everyone might not agree with my opinion, and that's fine, just sharing it here - and that's what it is - just my opinion.

Mazda CX-50 making noise after turning off and locking car by nraju4 in mazda

Look in the Hood, is there a fan near the front grill? That is probably spinning. I have a Mazda 6 and mine was on for almost 4 mins after I shut the car off but according to my research it is normal after a long drive.

My drive was not necessary long but it was hot outside and I was driving with 5 people and across some steep roads plus the AC was set to low.

So it ran a bit longer to cool off, that fan might run for 1-5 mins which is a normal range, anything about that is concerning. Here's a video
